Although, I will say that I wish the swivel had a wider range than 180⁰ and it didn't retract back to a neutral position every time I make a turn, hence minus a star. To get out of the chair, I very frequently find myself just scooting the entire chair out versus just *turning* out of the chair - something to keep in mind if you're considering this aspect. Repeatedly using your lower back to make a turn against the resistance could cause chronic back strain. ... show more

    • Don't Be Fooled by the "Swivel" Description

Such cute stools, but don't be fooled. There is NO WAY to site on the stool at the counter because of the "spring loaded" swivel function. The product description says, "The bar stool base can swivel 180 degrees, and it can be automatically corrected ." Oh, it CAN swivel, but you cannot swivel it and get seated due to the spring loaded action. Unless someone holds the stool in the "open" position, you literally cannot get into the seat AND be seated close enough to the counter to eat. AND you pay the shipping to return the stools with the bogus description? Seriously disappointed in these stools, deceitful product description, and return shipping costs. ... show more

Wow…these were a real surprise. We were not expecting much for the low cost, but they turned out to be fantastic. Low profile, comfortable, the vegan leather looks good, the chair swivels smoothly and the tapered legs look modern. We got the dark brown color. Highly recommended!
