However, it does come with 7 round magnetic plates to stick to the top of your stove so the magnets on the bottom of the mats worked perfectly! There are 3 magnets on each mat so they do give you an extra round plate as well. Definitely seems stable when put together which probably took me about 5 minutes. This shelf has strong magnets to hold itself in place with a nonslip material to keep items from falling off. Unfortunately, I have a Samsung Bespoke push-in oven that does not have a solid ledge.
