Well, Im doing a project in the backyard and needed a tarp to cover it during a upcoming rain storm. Based on the reviews I decided on this one. Well, that was a mistake. We just opened it up and discovered numerous holes in it and areas where the material was so thin you could almost see through it. See my attached pics. The pics represent different holes. There were others but you get the idea. I realize sometimes products are defective, so maybe I just got one. But this tarp is super thin, not sure it would hold up in any type of wind at all. We needed to move a wood shop out of state and decided to have these tarps delivered to the new site prior to the move. We were aware we would arrive late and needed these tarps to protect the equipment for a week or so as we set the shop back up. We arrived at 1am in wind driven rain to find these thin, flimsy, pin hole filled, nearly transparent tarps waiting for us. I would measure the thickness with a micrometer if I had it with me, but if this tarp is thicker than 2mil I would be shocked. I have a cheap dollar store 3x3 blue tarp and it says 2mil on the package and is identical to this tarp except for the color. Amazon should do something about this false advertising there is no way on earth this tarp is 5mil. Save your money and by another brand, or you will be disappointed. ... show more

Product is smaller than stated on packaging. Product is very thin and had some hairline tears in the material. I am only using this item to protect my clothes from dirt, sand, etc at beach. Buy at own risk. Would not recommend.

I got this to protect my feral cat in her house. It held tight, kept sleet out. It didn't tear or rip when stretched kept her comfortable when it was 19degrees and no she won't come inside.

It's multi uses... Right now its covering my metal/glass tables on my enclosed porch. Outdoors.... The enclosed porch is screened... So rain and snow blows right on in. Tarp is great.. Has some blown snow on it.
