Before this pool we had an intex 12 x 30 pool, I got this because I wanted something bigger for our family but wasn't ready for the full on 52" tall pool. My only complaints is the canopy had no detailed directions on how to attach it to pool, also it was very flimsy and wound up blowing off the pool. We just got an umbrella to put next to pool. The pump went out less than a week of owning this pool I purchased a bigger pump from bestway and it is amazing. All in all I still think this is a great pool. Ladder that comes with it is surprisingly sturdy. We have fun, it's big enough to hold a few floats. ... show more

    • Easy assembly, but not perfect

This pool was easy to assemble, and we are really enjoying it this summer, but there are a few annoying issues that made me debate between 3 or 4 stars. First off, the seals and hose clamps for the pump are terrible. The best I can do is reduce the leakage to small drips, and just figure I'll have to add water every few weeks. Horrible design. The second, and probably the most annoying issue, is the fact that they provided a 12-ft cover with a 13-ft pool. If it's a hot day, and the cover is good and pliable, then *maybe* I can get it to stay on -- if I have the water level topped off. But most days, it's an asinine process of pulling one side to get the cover over the frame, only to have the other side fall onto the water. Rinse and repeat, until you give up and leave one t-joint uncovered, and hope the wind doesn't blow. It could probably use a stronger pump, but we "shock" periodically to maintain chlorine levels, and spend a lot of time skimming (I'm a little neurotic about that). Overall, it does a good job holding water and allowing us to cool off in the summer, but there's a lot of room for improvement. 3.5 stars overall. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. First ... is a 13x 42 pool with holds about 3000 gallons. Material is good .. steel frame support is also good... and includes a canopy... I like the height of the pool because is perfect for a 6 to 8 old to learn how to swim ... with that said.. It might be to tall for younger kids... I did buy a 15x15 carp for support on the cement to crate a better stronger barrier.. and I bought a stronger filter than the one it comes with ... nothing wrong.. is just my preference the one in the package is good enough.. I think it a 550 gallon per hour ... which it means it exchanges every 6 hours approx.. the one a bought is 2500 so the exchange is every 2.5 hours... so for me is better... for the price point at 400 dollars I think you get a good deal ... just remember location ... and foundation.. if on grass make sure your level and free of debrie... lay an extra layer of harp.. or karp like 15x15 ... is cost like 25 dollars ... totally worth it help prevent punctures on the botton.. this manufacturer is consider good ... just do your home work ... to see what you need vs what you like... to help keep you pool clear shocke it once with one 1 lbs pack .. and buy chlorine disks and a bubbler to hold your chlorine. .. the one it come with is to small.. and need specials chlorine pills ... .. consider buying a intex 2500 One ..............is the better choice.. Two .....set your times on the unit for either 2 to 4 hours ... the hotter daus keep at 4 hours Never have to remember to turn it on or off Best of luck ... ... show more

Right out of the box I spotted a scuffed and abrased corner on the packaged vinyl pool, and after removing the plastic wrapping it became very clear that the pool was damaged straight from the manufacturing warehouse. Looks like the corner was dragged across concrete. So to return this look we are going to have to pay the cost of return shipping on this 80 lb box. Amazon instructions along with a printed return label specify that the buyer has to pay the cost of return shipping on this item. I’d consider patching the torn area except that other reviews stating multiple leaks in their pools has me thinking that I’d rather be out the money it will cost to ship this heavy box back than to deal with assembling it, filling it, and finding out it’s still leaking from other holes. Absolute trash. Don’t waste your money folks. ... show more

Wanted a small pool for our summer home that could be taken down and stored for the next season. Bought this pool 14x 48 inches in depth. My husband and I assembled it in 45 minutes. Filled it with water added the amount of chlorine suggested and baking soda. Crystal clear water for weeks with just a floating chlorine dispenser, no added chemicals. The small filter does an amazing job. Only negative, the pool cover included is to small which I had read on reviews. Over all a great value. Well constructed. Pool was easy set up. Beautiful colors but, Definitely over priced for what you get. This is maybe a $300 pool at the most. Pump is not equipped for the size though and also the Pump leaks at the connections though no matter you do! I don’t like the fact that the ladder is basically to small. It just barely fits and even on level ground once you add any weight to the ladder the metal cross bars makes connections with the liner and will cause damage soon so i opted to buy a bigger ladder. ... show more
