    • It's cheap?
Got mine in and opened the box there was a tiny defect top front and center the fake vanish sticker showing some wood, The knobs and switch on the back feel so cheap lite as air no substance to them like what are they made of that feels so lite and breakable!? Sound quality is not great from my 7.1 receiver subwoofer output can't make it loud enough for some reason. Previous subwoofer had no issues was loud and deep old pioneer from the end of the 90's the amp finally failed on it. For my needs this will end up being fine i bout this to house a Skar audio 8" dual 2ohm sub that takes 150 watt rms so this little box was cheaper then buying a replacement amp so hopefully a win here just need to be careful with the ultra breakable controls on the back. Oh almost forgot it was way louder hooked up directly to my PC so there maybe potential for it's power capabilities also do not use their provided rca cable it fell apart plugging it in to the sub lol it's soooo cheap. ... show more

    • Kind of quiet.
Works well had to get a splitter for it to work with my desktop speakers I had but the sound quality is nice it’s just a bit quiet for what I was looking for.

    • Great Sound and bass at reasonable price
I have been looking to add a subwoofer. I have previously purchased a sound bar from the same brand hence thought to use the same brand based on my previous experience. the subwoofer was nicely packed in 2 boxes to provide extra protection during the shipping. I was able to install it and use it over the weekend. This subwoofer is great for your home use or a small party. The bass is awesome and you can actually feel the difference. It comes with the manual which makes the installation easy. I will recommend this subwoofer to anyone looking for a quality sound within the budget. As mentioned I am using a sound bar from the same brand from last 2 years and never ran into any issues. This is a great buy and highly recommended. I will update the comments if I find any issues but so far convinced with this item and sound. ... show more

I managed to get this subwoofer on sale for my home theater system. I just wanted something basic and this was perfect. Setup is easy and it sounds great! It works great with movies, shows, and even if just listening to music. Would definitely recommend this for those that don't need/want the super expensive, top of the line subs.     • Not good! The 8" Jamo is what you want! Spend the extra $40 you won't be disappointed
Overall,it is a cheap sub that will give you bass but there's nothing great about it.I think it's price point should be about $49 1.) The main reason for returning: it has an auto shut off that is supposed to put your subwoofer into standby after about 15 minutes of not receiving a signal..well,it did it to me about 30 seconds into a movie with bass over and over again. Wasted an hour trying different configuration on the sub and receiver, tried LFE output and RCA on the sub. No option to turn power saver off. If there were, that would have solved the problem but that still wouldn't help the fact that it's a cheaply made sub that does not perform well. 100% power was not loud enough while the sub itself sounded like it was being overworked. 2) It is very cheaply made. Overall, this thing is rather light which makes me suspect the sub inside has a very small magnet because I can tell most of it's weight is the cabinet which also not well built.Even the volume knobs feel loose and light like you could crack them between your fingers if you wanted to. 3) when it was producing bass,I was not impressed in the least. It sounds ok or maybe even kind of good but not great in the least. My first home audio subwoofer was an 8 inch Sony about 25 years ago that literally would blow this thing out of the water. I have had subs as part of my home audio ever since and this Bestian takes the cake on "the worst". Maybe ok for computer media but if you like quality home audio or are using in a living room I would spend the extra money on something/anything else. Very disappointing considering I recently bought a Bestian soundbar for the bedroom that I am quite happy with for the price. I would recommend that which is why I gave the Subwoofer a try. Too bad. It's going back immediately. Update: spend the extra $40 and get the 8" Jamo sub here on Amazon and you can thank me later. It's ridiculous how much garbage this Bestian is in comparison.The Jamo is frickin awesome. Still experimenting but It has transformed my home theater and it's at about 45% volume. Super solid build and super solid bass!! If $110 gets you Bestian bass then it should stand to reason that the Jamo would cost at least 5x that but as I said,..it's only $40 more!!! Hope this helps someone out there and by the way,this Jamo is definitely better than my 25 year old Sony I spoke about earlier in the review! ... show more

I have other bestisan book Shelf speakers and I hooked them with these subwoofer. I am getting Amazing sound experience. I am in love with it. It makes watching movie or listing to songs a really great experience. The subwoofer is really powerful it shakes my whole house. I can feel in on the basement from 2nd floor. It had mine and my family’s shocked and how much power this little box has. I really wished that it had Bluetooth in it so I could just attach my phone to it.
