    • Wash your hands afterwards
The media could not be loaded. Elvis loves these!!! The smell and leftover duck fat on my hands isn't the greatest. I try to let him pick one out of the bag or just shake one on the floor, so I don't have to handle the treats. But he goes berserk for the duck feet.

I’ve bought these duck feet for the last year through Amazon and haven’t had issues. My dog loved them. I fear there might be a quality control issue - the last two bags I’ve received had several bones with an inedible casing on them - pictured above. The bones look normal when you take them out of the bag but as the dog eats the bone, they’re unable to chew through it. I am so grateful I was home to catch it this time - it is a terrifying choking hazard or potential stomach blockage. Unfortunately, we don’t feel comfortable giving our pup these bones anymore and would not recommend them to other pup parents. ... show more

    • Not too gross for me, delicious for my dog
My dog loves LOVES bully sticks, but they smell bad and tend to be too large to finish in one sitting, so she'll bury the stinky thing somewhere in the house. We've solved the too-large problem recently by buying Barkworthies Bully Stick/Bully Bites Treat, 12 oz. . They still stink though and after a session of chewing on them the whole room will smell of pizzle, so I'm happy to give her these duck feet treats sometimes instead. Others have complained about the smell of these, but I find it to be just a light greasy smell. It's not great for sure, but it's no more offensive to me than the way the kitchen smells after frying something. The bully sticks to me smell way worse. They are slightly greasy and I don't like touching them, but it's pretty easy to wash my hands after I grab one or to just grip them very lightly. I've given these to my dog and she loves them. She is a big chewer and enjoys anything crunchy. She must also enjoy the taste because as soon as I open the bag and the smell wafts out, she'll come running into the room. I also think she looks amusing walking around with a duck foot hanging out of her mouth. I've also given them to my boyfriend's brother's dog and his parents' dog and both enjoyed them. The parents' dog is 16 and can't really chew bully sticks anymore, but he had no problem with the duck feet. ... show more

    • Strange smell
My dog is not a big fan of these. She has liked other brands of this type of product but this one in particular she doesn't seem to care for and often leaves it laying on the floor. They have a little bit of a strange smell that I haven't noticed in others similar products. There are quite a few in the bag and I'm sure some dogs would love them but I will not be buying them again simply because these are definitely not a favorite with my dog. ... show more

    • Dogs love these!
I was worried that they might be too greasy for my Lab pup but if I stick to one a day It hasn’t created any gastric problems! Plus she loves them as does her 3 yr old lab buddy. They last longer than say pig’s ears,about 5 minutes. They don’t leave any grease stains either. Since the bag has a nice amount of the feet it will last over month easily. I would recommend these just be cautious about not giving a lot till make sure you’re dogs are okay. These are good for arthritic dogs as has right stuff to stop inflammation! They have no bad smell either like some other treats along this line can have. My dogs always think they are receiving a special treat when they get one! Use for training? Yes! Break or cut with kitchen shears into small pieces or at the end of training. Definitely recommend! Feb 2 2018 still don’t see any gastrointestinal problems with either of my dogs. I still give only 1 a day. Both dogs really love these as special treats during the week. ... show more
