My large golden doodle LOVES these hooves! I would say she’s a pretty aggressive chewer and loves these. These are the only thing I’ve found that last her awhile. I have found when they get small, she tends to start swallowing pieces too large and they make her vomit. (Pretty sure that’s her issue, not the product though so I take away the remainder when it’s small) There is a manure smell when they are wet (during chewing) but when they dry out again, they don’t seem to smell. I don’t have a great sense of smell and have mostly hardwood floors in my house so I allow her to chew them in my house. I know some people can’t handle/don’t appreciate the smell and keep them for an outdoor chew only. I also supervise my pup while she’s chewing them to make sure she doesn’t choke or anything as it sometimes sounds like they are breaking her teeth. She’s been perfectly fine though - I’m just a little overprotective. 🙃 I also don’t know what it is, but she goes crazy for the white hoof for some reason. ... show more

Although my dog loved this bone, it is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!!!! The bones breaks and splinters into tiny /small pieces. Many of these pieces are very sharp and could easily puncture organs and skin. Our dog is NOT an aggressive chewer and is a low to moderate chewer and he breaks this bone into splinters over about 1 hour. We threw away the rest of the bag. Not even the local humane society would accept them given the dangers of splintering bones. I should have done my research prior to the purchase. Rib bones from ANY animal is not safe for dogs, given this issue with splintering. ... show more

I had a really bad experience here - my petite pittie mix (only 45 lbs) managed to split the bone within the first 10 minutes. The sharp edges were so dangerous that I had to throw them all out. I understand that pork bones aren't cow bones - but how brittle they were really surprised me.

my dogs told me they liked them. they said thats wet hoof stink is woderful! but they are too hard to roll on, have to wait until someone pops it out ten you can eat it aghain and then roll in it later on that day!! oh and the sliime and spit from the wet hooves is so tastey it makes then retch. nothing better im told that cool spit with hoof stench in it, yuummy stuff. they also said it wold be stuopid to put them back on, so send them more! there i said it, now they will release me!! ... show more
