The cabinet is very nice, and does what I needed it to do which is store a bunch of garage items and provide a clean look. There are similar cabinets for double the price (or more) that are no better than this one. Took a little over an hour to assemble by myself with easy to follow instructions. How
ever, the most impressive thing was how this was packaged. Apparently they spend a little more to avoid returns for damage. Mine had a big gash and tear in the outer box. As soon as I opened it, I wasn't as concerned as the parts are held together tightly by steel framing on the top and bottom that holds styrofoam and pieces of press board in place. Also the individual pieces were placed to minimize space required. I have never seen any item packed so well and as a result, every piece was in perfect condition. If you are looking for a quality spacious storage cabinet at about the lowest price + shipping available, this should be at the top of your list. Unless it gets impaled by a fork lift or some other form of deliberate extreme abuse, you won't have to worry about sending back a damaged cabinet. Very satisfied with this purchase.

The end product is worth it and the assembly is obnoxious

First of all, let's be clear. This is a huge contraption and is going to meet whatever your storage needs are. I just built one to see how it would all fit and I am in fact going to get a second one. However, the assembly and overall structure should be dissected a bit. First of all, you're dealing w
ith very tight spaces as these screws that hold everything together need to be jammed into tiny little corners or edges surrounded by tiny little walls that keep all the edges from being sharp. If you have a screwdriver with a fat handle, you're in for a rough time. Second, these screws all need a bit of a "push" into the first few turns before they start to go in easily. The first few steps assemble the four walls. These are going to be super loose and wobbly until you get to the step that assembles the frame and placing that in, so don't worry. Until that step arrives, these are four VERY tall walls that are held together only by 3 screws each. If you have a second person, this is a nonissue. Frame in, you need to attach the floor and ceiling panels. The ceiling is simple although I didn't find the instructions super clear on where I was screwing based on the angle I was at and what I could see--get a flashlight, and suddenly everything makes sense. The floor panel is a bit trickier as it needs to go in between the left and right walls and a tiny little protrusion from those walls--if your back wall is still bowed out a bit because you haven't tightened everything properly, you can miss this little insert and struggle with the floor. If you have a second person, have them constantly press the back wall into the side wall, and you'll have no problems. I did this alone, and it took me a moment. After that, you're putting in shelves, easy. Then doors, also easy. And then you're done or you mount it to a wall and then you're done there. A trick that helped me was NOT putting the floor and ceiling panels while the whole thing was still upright (you assemble the walls on its back, then you lift it up and put in the frame. Then you turn it upright and go from there). It was a lot easier to just put the thing back on its back, put in the floor and ceiling, and then lift back up. All in all, assembly is definitely going to be a lot easier with a second person holding things in place, but once assembled, the thing is really sturdy and works fine. Finally, though, these are strong materials once assembled but flimsy while separate--it's nothing at all to bend and bow things, and I wound up bending one of the back walls a bit. Fortunately, easy to bend one way, easy to bend another, and I could bend it back. But too much bending or too much pressure and these things will definitely snap before they're assembled, so be careful. Oh, and the key is miserable. It is the year 2023 of our dear Lord and Savior and we have not improved office cabinet key and lock technology since the dawn of time itself; legends speak that even heart surgeons struggle with these things. You may also need to apply a little force on the door to keep it shut properly while you lock it, your mileage may vary. The issues of wonky assembly, wobbly bendy bends, and the same key your old boss you hate uses to keep his secret documents about his mistress locked up make me dock one star.

Shipped fast and well packaged

This cabinet was easy to assemble and arrived well packaged. I followed the instructions and had mine put together in about an hour. I put it together by myself with no issues. I would recommend a large flat area to assemble the cabinet. Unfortunately mine arrived with a dent in one side that appears
to have occurred at the factory prior to packaging. The dent did not effect the sturdiness of the cabinet at all, it just looks bad. Hence the 4 rating. My only option for recourse was to ship the cabinet back for a replacement, which I didn't want to do. I've got mine in my garage so I really didn't care. Amazon was great, they gave me rebate to my account. I have approximately 100 lbs on each shelf and after several weeks they are holding up well.

Firstly ill say this, if you do decide to buy this product do yourself a favor and install the top before the bottom. The bottom comes first in the guide they provide, but the angle is very weird and uncomfortable to screw in the top if you cant step inside to see the screw holes. Besides the odd ord
er of the guide i love this product! Its sturdy and big, enough to store all my knick nacks, books, ect. Unlike many im using this in my bedroom because i liked how simple and sturdy it looked. Much better then the cheap wooden alternatives imo. This product did not come damaged for me and every part was present and accounted for in the box. If your leaning towards getting it i dont think you will be disappointed.

I took a shot on this cabinet since it was about half the price of every other cabinet I was able to find. It’s a decent cabinet. Don’t think that I would fill it full of paint cans or anything else super heavy but it’s pretty solid. Worth the money but if you have truly heavy stuff to store, I’m not
sure I’d go for this.

Magnets didn't keep door closed

This was a relatively inexpensive, lightweight storage cabinet so I assumed it might be a bit flimsy and was worried I might have to send it back. I was actually quite surprised and very happy with the quality. No, it's not a super heavy duty cabinet, but for the price this is really quite nice. It w
ent together relatively easily and it's a good design, it will hold a lot of weight. The locking mechanism is good, too. This obviously isn't a safe and won't keep a determined thief out, but it is secure and will keep people out who aren't willing to physically damage it to get in. So if you're looking for secure storage that will hold a good amount of weight and keep it secure from most people at a reasonable price, I can definitely recommend this cabinet. Other reviewers indicated their cabinets arrived damaged. I did not have that problem. I found it to be securely packed and it arrived in great condition. I would buy this again if I needed another one.

I bought 2 of these for the library where I work. They are intended to store our STEM items. One came with a small dent in one of the pieces, but luckily it was the back panel where nobody will see it. As far as putting the cabinet together, it wasn't too bad, however, the instructions were not quite
accurate and when screwing the back panel together, do NOT put the top and the bottom screw in at first...wait until you need to add the bottom and the top pieces....or you will be sorry. We learned that the hard way on the first cabinet. I was pleasantly surprised that both cabinets came with keys that only worked in the cabinet they are assigned to.....not universal. Overall I am pleased with the cabinets and expect that they will last for years.
