I assumed the lids had a seal around them to snap in place. Unfortunately they only sit on top of the container. Having two young kids at some point these will be knocked over so we need a sealed lid for storage.

Worked great until I washed them in the dishwasher the first time. Even though the bottom has a dishwasher symbol it is not dishwasher safe. My container shrunk and the lid did not :(

We usually keep our fruits like strawberries on a plastic container with paper towel on the bottom. We noticed that after a few days molds will appear. With this container with a plastic bottom that allows moisture to settle on the bottom and not on your fruits. Very nice and useful container. This saves us money. ... show more
