I have changed disc brakes about 3-4 times in my life so I am not an expert but these are very easy to change. My old pads had worn completely through with no warning screech so I also replaced one of the rotors, the other rotor was still pretty smooth. These snapped perfectly into place. I was happy it included the guide clips since my had gotten destroyed on one side and I didn't trust the remaining side's clips. The thin paperclip looking part took a second to install but looks more dependable than the old ones and like they might actually keep the wear more even and reduce chances of anything touching when you have no pressure on your brakes. I’ve had these brakes installed for a good little while now. I haven’t heard any squeaking or screeching from them. If you have changed brake pads before, the installation is the same - nothing new to see here. These pads include the grease recommended to use on the clips (which are also included) for easier installation. Included is one packet of grease which is more than enough for a set (e.g. front brakes or back brakes). All in all, I would recommend these to anyone. I bought these for my 2019 Kia Sorento which has roughly 110k miles on it. The rear brakes started having slight but noticeable squeaky noise a week ago when braking so I figured it’s time to replace the pads. I have changed brake components multiple times in my life so this is an easy job. But to those with reasonable experience in DIY repairs this job should be very straight forward and could save you at least $100-150 bucks than having it done by a shop. These pads are exact fit without any play whatsoever. I got mine done in about 45 mins and afterwards I drove for another 50 mins there is no noise or grinding feel so I believe these are pretty good pads. Regarding longevity it’s too early to tell but usually rear pads last much longer than the front ones. As I said at the beginning my car has just passed 110k miles with the OEM pads so even if these Bendix pads last 70-80k miles I will be super happy.
