Sketchy shipping and packaging! Basically cardboard box to protect the paddle then put into a trash bag. Thankfully nothing happened to it! Other than that the paddle is awesome, lightweight and the paddle sticks in the water and doesn't flex. Wish I went straight to this paddle starting out.

I have a NuCanoe Pursuit kayak. My boat is 35 inches wide. This paddle performs well to propel the kayak with ease. The shaft seems quite strong. I have banged it on rocks, banks, tree limbs, other kayaks, stepped on it, etc. The only reservation I have about this paddle is that I wish it was a 280cm paddle to give me a small amount more clearance over the side of my Pursuit. BUT....like I said....my kayak is WIDE! For kayaks 35 inches or less, I definitely recommend this paddle. You will not be disappointed in this purchase. ... show more
