After reading lots of user reviews on luggage I decided on the 24 inch Ben Sherman Spinner (also known as the Ben Sherman Heathrow). I chose the 8 wheeled version over the 4 as there were a lot of complaints of the 4 wheel version breaking rather easily. The 24 and 28 inch sizes are expandable by unfurling an extra zipper and thus giving you an extra 2 inches of thickness if necessary. Apparently someone took advantage of Amazon's 'generous' return window and after using the luggage, returned it for refund. When I went to purchase, Amazon offered me the 'used' one at a pretty significant discount. Since the same return policy was available....I took the chance. The luggage looks much the same as anything that has gone thru the airport carousel a time or two. Not disappointed at all, a couple scrapes and scuffs, nothing major. The 24 is too big for a Carry On. The 8 wheels roll really nicely. It's got some good depth to it, even without unzipping the extra 2 inches. Tilted and dragging behind you it still rolls cleanly. I haven't taken my trip yet with it, but it satisfies all of my needs for space and mobility. * The only negative I see straight away is the non-locking' zipper. A built in TSA lock would have been a nice touch, but for my own purposed I'll probably use a small ziptie to keep them together (for my own piece of mind). ... show more

My family travels a lot and we have a number of suitcases from several well-known brands, all the way down to nameless brands. The brand name bags tend to be of the best quality and I ordered this because though I hadn't heard of Ben Sherman making luggage, I know they produce a number of other products, all of which are decent quality. When this bag arrived, I immediately impressed by the weight. This is much lighter than the other hard sided carry-ons I have from Samsonite and Ricardo. Being so light, I'm actually a little nervous about it's durability, but hopefully it'll prove to be tougher than it looks. If the bag holds up, being so lightweight will definitely be an asset - certain airlines we fly haven't been known to weigh carry-on bags, and we tend to overpack some. The outside of the bag is quite nice looking and I really appreciate that they included a handle at the bottom, which makes it easier to move the bag when opened - something I often find myself doing. The inside has a nice liner, the style of which I quite like. The wheels work well and the bag slides freely across the floor. The one and only reason I deducted a star is because of the telescoping handle. It moves in and out smoothly, but when extended, it feels loose. Other bags I have feel a lot sturdier, but the handle on this thing moves around a lot. All the backpacks I use when traveling have a strap so you can place it over the handle of your carry-on, but I'm not sure I trust the handle on this bag enough to put a heavy backpack on it. Hopefully the handle will last a long time and my concerns will be proven unfounded, but right now I'm not really confident the handle will last. Just used this for the first time and it worked well, I was able to fit 2 packing cubes of clothing plus used the separate zipper compartment of the lid for shoes and toiletries. Seems sturdy enough and the wheels are really zippy with easy 360 spinning. Handle is a bit wobbly when extended so I'm not sure about longevity but I like the color and it fits in the overhead. ... show more

This is a great little carry on spinner, for me it's all about the wheels and this one delivers. So smooth and easy to glide. I'll be honest, I don't like taking carry on luggage but ever since I got one with nice wheels, I use it now so I don't have to carry anything through the airport and it's wonderful. I just pop my tote bag on top and I'm hands free and gliding along, not sweating and huffing and puffing. This is a very lightweight basic carry-on size spinner. It looks well made and for a carry-on the light weight is important as it allows you to pack more! The wheels seem to be good quality and spin effortlessly. There are two compartments, as is standard with carry-ons. One has straps to hold items in place, the other a cover with a zipper and some pockets. There is a zipper to expand the bag, which is a useful feature. The telescopic handle feels a little flimsy, but is a necessary trade-off to the light weight. As a cary-on it should hold up well and I really like the light weight! I will update my review after my first travel with it! ... show more

this is a really nice looking spinner suitcase. at 20" it is slightly smaller than my other carry on luggage i have so dont anticipate any issues with size/boarding. the exterior is beautiful though i do wish there was a side handle instead of just the top/bottom. the wheels are smooth and the handle extends/retracts nicely. i like the inside zippers as well. overall happy with the purchase - it is very lightweight so hoping it holds up! ... show more
