High quality materials and very sturdy. Photos show seat with and without arms. Purchased for my 92 YO mother that is coming to visit. The current toilet is only 14" high so it would have been impossible for her to use this. This design is sleek and beautiful. The arms come out so you can have a normal looking toilet if you do not always need the arms. We will keep the seat on (it was easy to install by the way) after my Mom leaves as it is much more comfortable and higher which we like. I was searching for this for my mother. I needed to raise her toilet height and provide grab bars. She can not mount grab bars on her walls around her toilet. I also thought she would appreciate the bidet feature. Most toilet risers I have seen with built in grab bars seem bulky with plastic that feels like it would hold germs. They also usually have a small toilet seat opening and don't fit without some wobble. This product met all our needs with a large opening that looks like a standard toilet seat and is easy to reach in for wiping yourself if needed. The water temperature without a heating feature was not that cold or shocking. It is nice that you can adjust the force of the bidet spray. I love that the riser hinges to lift up for cleaning the toilet. It was easy to install and there were no leaks even without using the teflon tape provided. I left the washer in place as it arrived in the T valve and there were no leaks. There was some spraying out the side initially but I had to remind my mother not to move around much while using the bidet. The splash guard works well for a female user. Overall an excellent value and quality especially if you consider buying these three features (riser, grab bars and bidet) separately. ... show more

Unlike the CcBello, this one works as advertised! Easy to install- wife did it. Very stable, fits the bowl and keeps everything in the bowl. Easy to get on and off - Unlike the CcBello that had no arms for an aide, and it is well made and designed. I'm incontinent so I'm up every 4 hours so it gets a lo t of use. The side arms provide safety and ease transition on and off the stool Spend the money- you won't regret it !!! ... show more

Great in nearly all ways. High-quality. Stable. Easy install. Very good soft grip stable handles. Perfect fit. Easy sizing options for round OR oval toilet. Shiny plastic upper looks great and easy to clean but underside is hollow with different compartments that easily collect "splash up" from the toilet. Wish it was a closed system, with a covered bottom...with a slight angle towards inside of the seat which would direct any additional backsplash back into the toilet bowl instead on floor or dripping back down the outside of the toilet bowl. Doesn't happen during every use. Probably fine for someone who doesn't have IBS or loose stool though. Great product with great price overall. ... show more
