This TV stand looks great and seems pretty sturdy. It did take awhile to put together, about 3.5 hours for me to do alone. Installing the fireplace was the only difficult part, as the screws have to go in a dark and narrow gap. Otherwise, it was just a lot of steps. The fireplace looks nice, and I like that it has four levels of brightness. Customer service was great - when the twist-in leg cracked during installation and the fireplace remote arrived broken, they had a response to me overnight and replacements at my door in under a week - zero hassle. Other things to note - 1. As others have mentioned, the whole the-fireplace-needs-its-own-outlet thing. We're talking about a device that was specifically made to be used in a stand that holds other devices that require a wall socket. I don't know many people who have multiple sockets behind their TVs, and I'm in an apartment so it's not like I can have another one installed. I wasn't too interested in using the heating element so it's not a *huge* deal, but still frustrating. 2. The open shelf space is narrow in front of the center support piece. For example, I wanted to place a soundbar there which has HDMI inputs centered on the back. I can't center the soundbar on the shelf, because there isn't enough room for the soundbar and the HDMI cables in front of the support piece. Overall, I wish I could give this product 4.5 stars because of the fireplace nonsense, but am bumping up to 5 stars because of the excellent customer service. ... show more

Very nice cabinet. Great heater. Just what we were looking for but no where in the items description did it warn you that you must have a dedicated outlet for the fireplace heater. Who has two outlets behind a TV stand. Can't even use a surge protector and the fireplace heater in one outlet. Had to get an electrician to install another outlet! ... show more

I was a little unsure about buying at first, turned out to exceed my expectations. I had all the parts to assemble. Easier with two people. The build quality is great very sturdy not super heavy but definitely takes 2 people to pick up and move. Fireplace is very nice. Size is what is described. This piece completes our living room makeover. We love how it looks when it is not operating as a fireplace. When using the fireplace, it provides great heat and lovely ambiance. So many options for heat and flame appearance. Yes, it is a chore to assemble it, but every needed part was well marked and the instructions are as good as you get with complete drawings. Sure I made a mistake or two, but those were easily fixed. When I ran into one problem, the seller was very responsive and helped me out. Plan for it to take hours to assemble and you'll likely need another set of hands at some points. But what do you expect when you order a large piece of furniture that will be shipped free (with Prime) to your home. Of course it's a lot of pieces parts. But it is packed securely to assure it ships safely. Love this fireplace! ... show more

This is the first time I've ordered furniture online. Even though this peice is particle board/laminate, it is very attractive. It took about 2 hrs to put together and has very easy instructions. I am impressed with the heat output of the fireplace. Some of the reviews say that the pre drilled holes are off and the cabinet doors are off. I think it is important to make sure peices are flush before tightening. Also, the door hinges are adjustable. Very easy build...I am happy with my purchase. ... show more
