  • It works when other cables won’t.
Size: 6.6 FT Style: Standard Cable
I just thought I would add my experience and configuration in hopes that if anyone is experiencing the same issue, this will help. So, we just purchased our first 4K television which was a LG OLED. We have a variety of devices hooked up to a new Denon x6400 receiver and from that to the tv. In preparation for the new tv, I purchased new high speed hdmi cables with 18Gbs of bandwidth advertised as high speed. Everything worked well up to and until an Apple TV 4K was installed. I experienced random blackouts and flashing video and the unit kept trying to use Dolby vision as it’s choice of HDR. It failed no matter what cable I used. Following all the steps I could find on the web, nothing fixed this device. Until now. This cable cured every hiccup that I had and has been trouble free for months. Yes, there are other steps needed like enabling deep color on your tv and extended hdmi on your Denon. But, none of those alone solved a thing. This did. That is all I wanted from the cable, and it lived up to the promises made. Great product. Be careful, there are many many professionals claiming no special hdmi cables are needed for 4K HDR. I tried six brands I had laying around and most were hdmi 2.0a, high speed, and 18Gbs rated. None worked. Apparently, some devices are picky like that. ... show more

  • HDMI 2.1 ULTRA HIGH SPEED CERTIFIED?
Size: 6.6 FT Style: Standard Cable
All as I can say is WOW! There is a lot of misconception and misrepresentation about HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed Certified Cables floating around out there! And in all honesty, there are a lot of amazon.com vendors straight up lying about their cables being HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed Certified. First off, let me say that in order for a HDMI cable to TRULY be HDMI 2.1 Certified by the HDMI Licensing Administrator it MUST possess the HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed Certified Cable Scannable Label on the outer packaging (not to be confused with the similar looking HDMI Premium Certified Cable Label), AND it must have the words “Ultra High Speed HDMI© Cable” printed on the Outer Jacket of the cable itself. Not something similar to those words, but those EXACT WORDS. If it does not have BOTH of these, it is NOT HDMI 2.1 ULTRA HIGH SPEED CERTIFIED. PERIOD. THE END! Now please allow me to delve in a little deeper. This pretty much eliminates all HDMI Cables with Braided Jackets, as it would be impossible for consumers to ensure the cable inside the braided jacket is indeed 2.1 Certified without physically removing the jacket. I highly doubt that anyone who just plunked down $40 for a HDMI cable is going to want to do that. The 2.1 standard also eliminates ALL cables unable to deliver a MINIMUM bandwidth speed of 48Gbps and unable to support uncompressed 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz video (the 48Gbps being the important factor here). So, now this also pretty much eliminates all “thin” HDMI cables and all HDMI cables over 3 Meters (10 feet) in length, unless they are constructed of fiber optic material (and even that is no guarantee). I will not even get into the Poorly Constructed Cable factor here. Bottom Line: Do your research, and choose wisely. ... show more

  • The Belkin HDMI cables really looks just like any other cable
Size: 6.6 FT Style: Standard Cable
I recently bought an Apple TV 4K for my new LG OLED55C7P TV. I tried 5 or 6 different "HDMI 2.1" rated cables I had laying around the house. Nothing would make it properly send TV wake commands. The TV would ATV would occasionally just freeze up, and other weird ghostly issues. I finally bit the bullet and bought this pricey HDMI cable as a last resort before returning the ATV. The Belkin HDMI cables really looks just like any other cable. But Low and behold, it solved every issue I had and the image looks unbelievably good. You can get me to watch literally anything if it's in 4k HDR. Bachelorette: why not. Info Wars: I can see every pulsing blood vessel in Alex Jones lizard man face. For Apple TV 4k owners, if you want the highest resolution settings to work properly, sadly you'll need to get this cable it seems. If Apple's product requires this cable, it should be included. This is not the cables fault, so it still gets 5 stars. ... show more

  • Works, but no label of cable version (rev. 5/3/18)
Size: 6.6 FT Style: Standard Cable
The cable works fine, but... There are several versions of HDMI, version 2.1 being the most desirable at this time. However, this cable has no labeling to assure the customer that it really is 2.1. So if it is, why not commit to saying so? That reduces this rating by one star. UPDATE 5/3/18: Comment # 1 is correct, and I stand corrected. On the other hand, an HDMI cable CAN be be labeled with an equivalent cable-based standard, which (as I understand it) would be 48G. However, the cable I received is not labeled at all. Only the connectors are labeled, and those only only as "HDMI." Not helpful. ... show more

  • Apple 4K TV did not work until I used this cable. It's true.
Size: 6.6 FT Style: Standard Cable
After reading an earlier review, I decided to give this cable a try. I have an LG OLED TV and I just got an Apple 4K TV. My existing cable didn't work. On Netflix, I could view the menus and even view trailers but the moment I started the actual video I got a pure black screen. Although my existing cable was high speed, some internet searching convinced me to replace the cable. Well, the new premium high-speed cable did the exact same thing. After more searching, several things pointed to this particular cable as the solution. Although I was anticipating more trouble-shooting and pain, I'm happy to report that once I swapped to the Belkin cable everything worked perfectly right away. This cable is spec'd at 48 Gbps as opposed to the 18 Gbps of high-speed cables. ... show more

Size: 6.6 FT Style: Standard Cable
I bought this HDMI cable cause of my new LG 65C8 OLED tv I got just last week.. I wanted to get, Atmos audio and HDR and Dolby Vision but to my suprise, I couldn’t get any Consistent audio, it was sporadic at best... I was able to get HDR and Dolby Vision and 4K streaming thru Netflix but, Audio was choppy and would never stay solid long enough to hear a complete sentence l.. However, Normal SD was fine... 1080P was fine, Only when I watched 4K of any format is when I had audio problems.. The 4K video was perfect, Just audio was so messed up.. ... show more
