  • My 3rd one of these.
Style: Line Mixer
I once again needed some additional input options for my Tascam Model 12 to handle the “Growth” of my Synthesizer collection as I was reconfiguring my entire Music Workstation Setup. This little line mixer is a gem in terms of my options. The Mono or Stereo configuration per input is so versatile. It is quiet and can handle any signal. The inputs are selectable for +4dBu or when the switch is depressed (-10 dBV), the inputs are more sensitive. The 7-digit level Left and Right meters are very accurate and the front Mute switch for each channel is a bonus. It fits nicely in the racks under my main Workstation Tops. It is very solidly made. And.... you can't beat the price. I am very pleased with my decision to purchase another Behringer RX1602. Now all of my Synthesizers, Drum Machines etc. are connected in an easy to control workflow, with every audio level just right. ... show more

For the price, you can't find any other compact line mixer out there that comes close. Great compact and useful unit.

  • Good deal for the price.
Style: Line Mixer
My only dislike for this line mixer is that the effect/headphone/insert send is in mono. If these sends were stereo I would have given it 5 stars. Otherwise it looks to be built well and the price is impossible to compete with.

  • I’ve been researching this for a long time. Stop looking at $800+ Rack line mixers!
Style: Line Mixer
THE EURORACK PRO RX 1602 I’ve looked for Line Mixers in the distant past and recently I’ve been looking again, specifically to route multiple computer audio interfaces into my main FOCAL CMS studio monitors. This unit uses (16) 1/4” TRS Inputs & (3) 1/4” TRS Outputs for 8 stereo inputs, a stereo main output & a Mon/Fx send. There’s a lot of unnecessary features on $800-$1000+ line mixers that are much larger than 1RU. Sure they look cooler but…. I just needed to feed my FOCALS. Picked up 2 XLR to 1/4” TRS cables to run from the Behringer to the monitors. Then I grabbed a 1/4” TRS to two (left/right) RCA cable to run from the Mon/Fx send and into my woofer. All problems solves and I’m down to a 1RU mixer instead of a table top monstrosity taking up valuable space. All the inputs/outputs are tight and hold onto the 1/4” TRS jacks perfectly. Each stereo channel has a +4dBu -10dBV operating level selector. MAJOR PLUS! The unit is QUITE even when cranked up. It’s been on for 5 straight days and it’s not even warm. I’m not the biggest Behringer fan however on occasion they do make really good products for a low price point. AND I was prepared to pay $1000ish and I wanted to. There’re some pretty, shiny objects out there. But WHY? This was $129!! SOLD! The EURORACK PRO RX 1602 is perfect for the job I needed it for. ... show more

  • Solid line mixer
Style: Line Mixer
Regarding: EuroRack Pro RX1602 v2 My RX1602 v1 manufactured in 2003 (which I purchased 'new' around that time) was recently having some funky issues. It would sometimes pop and power cycle itself. It would not have been worth the cost to repair, and I was not interested in tackling the repair myself, so I picked up a v2 model. I have not encountered any of the previous issues since obtaining the newer model. I've been using the v2 for 6 months now. The new model has less depth at 5.9 inches vs 8.5 inches (see photo, new version on top). The depth could be an issue depending on how deep of a rack you intend to use. I will place this in a new rack later, but for now I have it on my computer desk with some small felt pads I added. I had read that the newer model has a better transformer, I can't say whether or not the original transformer for my v1 model was at fault. My v2 was likely made between late 2020 and Jan 2021. The newer models do not have date codes like the older ones. As for performance, for my purposes the signals are quite clean. Seems as clean as the signals coming from the output of my sources at this time. All things considered, A+, especially considering the price! ... show more

  • you can not go wrong with a Behringer mixer ( rack or tabletop )
Style: Line Mixer
this is a nice basic straight forward mixer to give you a lot of inputs leading to one output. if you want something more sophisticated, the FX version with a lot more controls is for you. I own the only 2 models they currently make :) If Behringer decide to make an even higher end model, I will buy that too, you can never have too many mixers :) ... show more

  • Do they use their own products?
Style: Line Mixer
I ordered this recently, and though I knew the effect send was mono, I thought I could work around it by using the headphone jack - THE HEADPHONE JACK IS MONO TOO! WTF??? So now I need to use a splitter on the outputs. Thanks Behringer for not thinking this through... If the following changes were made, I would give this 5+ stars: 1) Add one jack to make the effects send stereo. 2) Make the head phone jack stereo. 3) Replace the individual L and R main output pots with a single ganged pot. Since you can already control L and R volume, this is unnecessary and undesirable. ... show more
