Uno de mis sintetizadores preferidos en la actualidad, Behringer permite probar la historia del sonido al alcance del bolsillo.

  • Sounds as strong as my 1970's Arp 2600

The Behringer 2600 is as versatile, musical, and fun as the original. It's a great addition to a Eurorack system, adding all the utility the 2600 is known for. I really like it, but every review has to gripe a little. The pictures and tradition call it the Orange & Black livery, but in this case, it's shades of brown. The somewhat delicate sliders with LEDs are ok, but the colors seem more like they wanted to use all the colors available from the slider vendor, not for imparting function. Especially the ugh green LEDs. If I did it over again, I would have gotten the grey one. Much more legible in dim light and I think one color of LED works better. I've been turning down the LED brightness to early on and it is less distracting. The digital reverb is kind of a blurry mush, but it does give you another color in the palette and has its place. The blue and the grey models have a "real" spring reverb, so there's that as well. Maybe better, maybe not. The choice for me came down to the "Meanie" text on the panel. I thought it was silly and went with the Orange & Black. But in summary, Holy Smokes. A new 2600 for under $500? What an age we live in. Push the order button and get the grey one. Do it now. You'll love it. It's a way of life. ... show more

  • Great reproduction of a classic
Style: Synthesizer
I owned an original ARP 2600 in the 70’s and never expected to find a synth to compare with it again. Have to admit I bought this initially out of nostalgia but then was reminded of just what an amazingly versatile and inspiring musical tool this is. Now it’s the backbone of my analog composition process. ... show more

and sent it back. The reverb is muddy in a bad way. After using a Eurocrack setup for a few years, it is more difficult for me to understand/use the normalling--kind of like driving a manual race car or flying a spaceship then going to an automatic grocery runner. After building a DIY eurorack setup with quality parts, I wanted to add a quick upgrade to the arsenal-- this was a mistake as I cannot take how thin and tinny this hunk of metal clunks out oscillations compared to 3340 or designs with more love than profit seeking. ... show more

  • It has a beautiful distinctive sound
Style: Synthesizer
My wife got me one for my birthday and when she asked why I wanted this, in particular, I played just a note for her with the reverb on and she's like "Oh wow. OK I get it." The digitial version of the spring reverb sounds great and has zero noise like the spring does. It's not as springy / doesn't resonate as much but for me the tradeoff is fine. I can always get a spring reverb if I want one. What makes this so great is the authentic analog signal path and how versatile it is. So much music history in one box. I have an MS 20 Mini, a Behringer Pro One and Model D and the 2600 learning curve is a little bit steeper than those IMO. But there is plenty of help on Youtube. :) ... show more

  • Best synth of all time made possible to own
Style: Synthesizer
Behringer...oh its the debate of the decade in music for me. I love what they have done here. It is a true value at its price and feels like a real 2600 should i believe. I could never afford an original and thats the endpoint to any debate on Uli and Behringer. I'm just having a blast playing things ive only been able to use software for previously. The build quality is solid as well. up there with the deepmind 12 in my opinion. If you are trying to get in to analog synthesis and smart get one of these. the potential is endless. ... show more
