I just started my journey into cosmetics about a month ago and I struck gold when I stumbled upon this kit. I was overwhelmed by all the blushes, eye shadows, lip colors, concealers, brushes, etc. on the market. I really didn’t know where to begin. So I was excited and relieved to find a kit with every thing I needed to explore and experiment with different colors and looks. This set has been beyond amazing for me! Even though I have yet to use all the make up brushes; they appear to be good quality. They have worked well in applying and blending to help me achieve a few simple looks. I haven’t experienced in shedding and even after I have used and cleaned them; they are still soft and fluffy. I think the brush handles are plastic but they feel nice and comfortable in my hands. The make up case is compact and does a great job displaying all of the color options. However, when you extend the legs of the case; its a bit wobbly so I choose to keep the legs retracted. Also, I wish this case had a third drawer or an extra compartment to store the few loose items that was included in the kit. Overall, the case serves its purpose and it is travel friendly. I put the make up case next to a 5x7 picture frame and they are a perfect match in size. The case is fairly flat so it could easily fit in your carry-on bag with your favorite book. I am in awe with the assortment of neutral and bold colors, the glittery textures, and learning different make up techniques. These colors are beautiful and as a woman of color, I am happy to have so many options. This kit is especially helpful in guiding me to colors that I like and work best with my skin tone. It has also proven to be cost-effective for me. As I make future purchases; my choices are more focused and I don’t find myself wasting money on trying out a lot of random colors. This enormous color palette has helped shape and define my preferences. And yes, this kit is a great value and I highly recommend it. ... show more
