I consider myself a Hot Honey connoisseur and I have an OG favorite in Savannah Bee Company Hot Honey but sometimes you just crave a little more heat and this hit the nail RIGHT on the head. I ordered this to put in my hot tea. The package came wrapped in a layer of plastic of over the container. There was no leaking. The size is a little smaller than expected, I thought there would be a few pieces but it’s just one big piece, it seems like 2 slices could have fit. Opening the package was not easy for me due to lol the tape, but that did help prevent the leaking. It was fine to open after peeling the tape off. The container could be made more leak proof because one the tape comes off you can feel the sticky from the honey. The texture is soft, the state is light my first thought when tasting it was cotton candy. The value for the money is low, I would have liked more than one piece. ... show more

Very minimal leakage upon opening, but nothing to be concerned about as it doesn't come out of the container, only sticky around the edges.
