  • Moves air in small RV refrigerator
Color: Natural
So far, so good. We were camping for eight days and it worked well. Love being able to turn off when not in use and without removing the batteries.

  • So far so good.
Color: Natural
I installed an old propane RV fridge in a cabin. The fridge worked fine when it was cool outside, but in the heat of the summer it won't keep the fridge cool. I bought this unit as well as some 12v fans for the heat exchanger to see if that would help. The 12v fans push air behind the unit across the heat exchanger fins. This Beech Lane fan is running inside the fridge to move air across the cooling fins inside the fridge. Between the two items, my fridge is now cooling great, even in 90-degree plus temps and high humidity. I really think the outdoor fans are the most important, but the Beech Lane fan definitely helps speed up how fast the fridge cools down. Not sure yet how long the batteries in this fan will keep it running (I would really love it if they would get me at least 2 months, but that is probably wishful thinking). ... show more

  • the bottom does not stay on so the batteries fall out
Color: Natural
Positive: the fan is very quiet. I have to put my hand over the fan to make sure it is running. It helps to keep the refrigerator cool. I really like the on off switch. The one I had previously did not have this feature. Negative: The bottom does not stay on. When I go to move it either in the frig or to put it in the frig, the bottom falls off and then the batteries fall out. While we are on vacation we taped the bottom to the top but not a good solution if you have to change the batteries. Also being in the frig the tape gets very sticky. ... show more

  • It works!
Color: Natural
I’ve had this running for four weeks now with the same set of batteries and it is still going. Know that the fan runs at low velocity. It moves the air just enough that when I placed it in my mini fridge just a couple inches away facing the back wall where the cooling elements are, the internal temperature dropped almost 10 degrees at the fridge door shelf. Before using the fan, the fridge was cold near the back wall but not as cold on the door shelf. It seems like the fan barely moves any air but apparently it circulates the air in the fridge just enough for a cooler average temperature all throughout. So I got a second one. One on the top shelf and one on the bottom shelf both facing the cooling element. I’ll update when I know how long the batteries last. I recommend this for anyone using a small refrigerator that typically does not have its own internal fan. ... show more

  • Temp is Colder
Color: Natural
Need more time to properly review but so far it is working. More time needed since it has been cloudy and rainy for a week and outside temp was lower by 7 to 10 degrees. Today it is scorching hot and sunny and I have had to increase fridge temp to highest setting to keep it below 40 degrees but it is holding temp steady. When first received I started off with it on bottom shelf as instructions stated but found it did not help and after 24 hours moved it to top shelf as others had suggested. It worked better but I have found that my second shelf seems to be the best location. It has solved the ice build up on the fins 100 percent. So far no noise as others have mentioned. I will update in 2 weeks what I think as I really wanted the kind that goes on the fins but since I have a Norcold I cannot run installation wires down drain hole for fridge condensation. Iunderstan Norcold fridges now come with this system installed. ... show more

  • So quiet!

This little fan is for our camper refrigerator, to circulate the air. It is extremely quiet and it works very well.

  • Great customer service
Color: Natural
Our unit did not continue to work in our rv fridge unless we put batteries in every 2 weeks or less because it was in an area that froze and was very moist, and batteries don't like that. When I contacted the company to see if this was a defect, I was told it was the batteries and they gave me a full refund even though it was past time for a refund! I wasn't expecting that! My beef is really with Norcold for making( in USA) such a poor fridge. ... show more
