Two Power Frames are perfect for our custom-built German style platform bed with Extra long twin matresses. They do everything we need and our pure latex mattresses move perfectly. Did not have to sacrifice the under-bed storage or buy new linens. Added 1.75 inches in height. Still accessible for me at 5' 1". Controls are not overly complicated, and it doesn't need the Internet to operate. We did a lot of shopping and decided to start with The Power Frame at ~$2K. Returnable if we didn't like it, but they are staying for sure. From Amazon, the massage units were included. We are so happy. First off - this item is HEAVY! You WILL need two people to move the box and to help with setup. Second - Setup is very straightforward. The instructions are crystal clear. Third - Note that the massage motors are shipped separately from the base unit. DO NOT set up the base before you receive the motors. Once you have received everything, then proceed with the setup. And finally - This is a fantastic product. The quality engineering and product manufacturing is first rate. You can tell from the moment you receive the box. Do yourself a favor, read thru the setup instructions first, so you will understand the process. It is easy to follow; the challenge is because of the size and weight. That is why you need two people. This base is fantastic! Easy to use wireless remote control. There are pre-programmed settings and you can also save your custom ones. It even has USB ports on each side to charge your phone! And the best part, it can be used with any base and any mattress. It’s not inexpensive, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for! We have had Tempur-pedic adjustable beds in our homes for years, but we bought a home up in the mountains in Colorado that had a built-in king size platform bed. We thought we had no options but to sleep flat and prop up pillows to watch TV, but then along came bed Jets adjustable bed. Problem solved. It’s a great product, and we love it. Update: The massagers arrived in a separate package two days later. Considering the pain it is to setup my bed, they will now have to wait until we feel like taking the mattress apart. Wish they would have all come together in one shipment. Just set up this King adjustable base last night and it really is great. So thin, it did not even bring the bottom of my mattress above the wooden bed frame. I love that i can sync the two twins for my king bed now and can unpair them later if we get a split king. Thankfully they are a tad bit smaller than the bed frame itself which gave me plenty of room for my air hoses for our personal comfort mattress. I was a bit worried about the thickness of our mattress, but the bedjet had no problems at all with it. Would have given it five stars, but the massagers were NOT included with it as the description says. Will update after we've had it a while. ... show more

I especially liked that I didn't have to get rid of the bed frame because this adjustable Bed Frame fit right in my existing bed frame and we didn't have to do anything but install it. I also love that I can elevate the head because it has helped me with my congestion. I can elevate the feet and it made it more comfortable also. I have yet to use the multi-zone massage but I think I'm going to like it also.... if I make the time to use it because I usually just go right to sleep. Over all, I am very happy with this purchase. It's pricey, but I like that it's compatible with my existing bed. It's very low profile, and easy to setup. Be aware, it's heavy (140lbs), so you'll likely need 2-3 people to get it where it needs to go and get it set up. But follow the instructions and setup is pretty easy.

I rarely take the time to leave reviews but I wanted to share my experience with the BedJet Powerlayer adjustable bed. I have a custom made frame to support a MCM Brasilia Headboard and thought I would never be able to find an adjustable bed that would work with my custom frame. Not only is the Bedjet the incredibly slim from a height perspective, the dimensions of the base are slightly smaller than a standard King Size Mattress which allowed it to sit within my very tight bed frame. Meanwhile, the zero clearance allowed it to sit directly on the the slats on my bed. Overall, the PowerLayer is smooth, quiet, and very sturdy. However, the best part is that you don't even know it's there since it can sit so perfectly inside of basically any bed frame. ... show more
