  • 100% STABILITY. The slats are made of certified solid birch wood (FSC certificate (FSC-C139998) available upon request). The tape is made of high-quality cotton and runs along the edge to minimize noise. You spend a third of your life in the bedroom, so keep it free from synthetic furniture.

I had high hopes for these slats but the quality was just a bit rubbish. The cotton strip ripped easily when laying the slats down. A lot of them were warped and the overall finish is rough not to mention a few of them split. It does the job but for the price, the quality just is no where near what it should be.     • Great quality "bunky board"!
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and price of these bed slats. I looked up a bunch of bunky boards and low foundations online since I didn't want to raise my new mattress...just add support. I also wanted sonething without boards that would creak or make noise. Many of the ones I found that fit my specs were double the price with mixed reviews...or they had to be delivered with an appointment from a bed store. When I considered the price of them, I began to wonder if I should just spring for a new platform bed frame since I knew I wanted a new bed frame in a few years. Then I fell upon this gem. These are solid, sturdy real wood slats that are joined together with 2 rows of a heavier fabric stapled on. I got a king size and the box was not that big because the slats are stacked in the box. They came out of the box beautifully and untangled. My husband and I just pulled them up onto the edges of the bedframe and screwed then to the bed frame overhang. Our bedframe has 3 wood slats of its own that have legs to provide weight support. So we snipped the fabric on a couple of the slats to accommodate these and made sure to fasten the slats that were no longer connected on both sides to the bedframe. The screws provided were good quality...we just needed a few extra of our own due to separating some of the slats. Just from the packaging of the product, you can tell its good quality.
