This frame is really easy to assemble and very stable. After several months of use I have only had to tighten screws back up once and that was because I get them tight to begin with. After the initial tightening there have been no signs of instability and it provides a good base for the mattress without letting it sag or bunch down into the frame. A lot of modern, metal bed frames have the problem of allowing mattresses to slide right off if you're not careful, mine included. So I picked these up, and they hold it in place much better than it would be held otherwise. The only difficulty I had with these is that during assembly, it's important to get the bolts partially screwed in before placing the bracket where you wanted, or you're stuck reaching around/inside the bed frame blind to try to seat the bolts. Although the material is great it squeaks nonstop and it awful! I’ve made sure I built this correct and that all bolts are tight. The headboard is so noisy that anytime I move it make the loudest squeak. I definitely don’t recommend this product.

This bedframe is easy to put together, and it is very sturdy. It is made from metal, so there is not a whole lot of bowing and warping that you would be dealing with like some of the wooden units. It is in a very small compact package that is very heavy. You obviously have to put it together yourself but it does not take that long at all. I would say 15 minutes from the time you open the box until the time that it is completely set up. This bedframe gives a firm solid base for your bed, and it is very inexpensive. ... show more
