This was exactly what we were looking for! It is the perfect weight and warmth for both myself (who is typically chilly at night) and my husband who gets overheated easily because of his diabetes and occasional night sweats. We received it now during the summertime so I will not know how warm it is for the winter until then. We are using it in our air conditioned bedroom and it is perfect. I usually sleep with a blanket and a comforter in the AC but we have only needed this one comforter. It is unbelievably soft. It is microfiber but feels more like an old smooth sleeping bag. I don't always love microfiber because sometimes it feels almost tacky or sticky (sorry this hard to describe lol) but this doesn't it's so smooth and soft it's amazing. I am a quilter and the squares are like big quilt squares and the edges are perfectly done with a binding of the same fabric but thick and reinforced. I have purchased many blankets and comforters over the past few years and never cared for them. This one is absolutely perfect and is absolutely worth the cost. We have a queen bed but I purchased the king and love it! I am going to purchase one for our 10 year old son as well because they are so durable and easy to clean! I bought this at a very big discount. I currently have one on my bed that is heavy and loud because I do not have the cover on it. I don’t think this is goose feathers but I like that it is light and silent. I Can toss and turn without walking my husband. Overall it works just as I need it. I have a king bed and don’t like bed skirts so I want my comforter to go to the bottom of the box spring and still have enough to cover myself! That’s tough to do with most comforters…until now!!! This one is BIG! It can hang down the bottom to cover mattress and box spring so bed looks nice and neat with enough left to go all the way up to the pillows and fold over about 6”!!!! It hangs down each side to reach a little below the the bottom edge of the mattress which is fine for me! It is very soft and well-made. Washes and dries beautifully. I loved it so much I ordered a 2nd one and threw away my old comforters! I may even order a 3rd and leave it in the packaging just in case!! Great value!     • Inexpensive but perfect!
I recently upgraded to a king bed and needed a decent all-season duvet insert. This was the cheapest good one on Amazon at $24, and I feel like I made out like a bandit! First of all, it came vacuum sealed, which brought me great peace given that one of my worst fears is getting bed bugs from a cheap bedding return on Amazon. Realistically, I realize you could just re-vacuum seal a return, but it gives me more peace of mind and seems more likely to be new. So that was very nice. Second, it is a really nice weight! I was previously using a much pricier Wamsutta Cool and Fresh and this is just a bit thinner than that, which has actually ended up being better for me. There are also corner tie slots (tiny and difficult to thread through, but they're there nonetheless) which my older, pricier duvet didn't even have. I don't know how it will wash yet but it seems nicely constructed, so I'm not worried about it. At this price, I hardly even care. Very happy with my purchase and would easily recommend this to anyone! ... show more
