It has great noise cancellation! The smell was a bit funny straight out of the box, but it’s very comfy on the ears. It does come with stickers on the side to show you where the charger goes and how to connect it to your device. Mine came fully charged (100%) and connected very easily! Everybody says be typed, but I got these for a good deal, and they fit my head nicely. I’ve been searching for not overly expensive headphones for a very long time, and I finally got a deal on the Beat Solo 3. I got mine in the color rose gold, and they are beautiful. Even though the white ear muffs wrinkled up after a while, it's OK because they are replaceable. These phones may not be noise-canceling, but they are great study essentials. I am still able to hear when my name is being called, but I also block out necessary background noise when I'm studying or doing assignments. I also recommend these headphones for those who like to go to the gym and do not do intense workouts because they are comfortable and durable. These are the best headphones I have ever had. You can turn the volume all the way up on your source and the sound is still crystal-clear. The range is also incredible without any disintegration of signal. They come in multiple colors. Just a word of warning. The beats solo 4 are not as good as the beats solo 3. They are wholly a different kind of headphone. The 3's have a very heavy bass and the 4's have a light bass sound which you cannot manipulate. So the 4's are not an upgrade. If you want clear heavy bass sound like I do, choose one of these 3's and not the 4's. I found out the hard way and had to return one of the 4's. I am one of these people that prefer very loud music on my headphones and I demand no distortion when doing so. These are the perfect headphones for that. ... show more

Bought these for my teenage daughter's birthday 2 months ago and she hasn't put them down. They connect seamlessly with her ipad (as all Beats products do) and look great, fit well, and have excellent sound. No complaints from her, and thus no complaints from me!
