Summary: I remember the first time i used these earbuds, i was blown away by the clarity, the ergonomic inside ear fitting, bass punch, call quality and its stylish looks. I am reliving that allover again. If yours is old, worn out or lost, just go fort it and relieve the glory! Received original APPLE branded earbuds with MIC! No discrepancy! TL;DR So, I've been using the stock Iphone earbuds on my iphone 7+ for the past 3 years and 8 months. Yes I am one of those people who buy quality stuff and try to make it last as much as possible. I remember the first time i used these earbuds, i was blown away by the clarity, the ergonomic inside ear fitting, call quality and its stylish looks. It had been my trusted companion for calls, music, gym training's, long haul flights, sweat, rain and life in general. I noticed there was some earwax on it which i cleaned regularly ( i couldn't clean the speaker grills, just the exterior). Not sure whether it was that, my extensive usage or me manhandling it in bags/pockets, its output had become severely subdued. I had even forgotten how clear and thumpy they sounded and was just making do with what i had (started using separate headphones for music). The wires wore out and yesterday, the left earbud gave up. Given these covid-19 times, i was like heck, lets go for the AIRPODS, and live wirelessly. But then i thought, we are all anyway stuck at home, why invest $250 or $150 for the wireless experience. even if i wish to flaunt them, there aint no pint! adding to that, I am also quite skeptical about bluetooth radiation, esp because i attend 2 to 3 hour calls a day from work and family and the worst, why buy another device asking regular charging!     • These die (control toggle/microphone) every few months- incoming sounds keeps working
First of all, I love these. I don't love that they die. Ordering my tenth and 11th genuine apple pair this weekend because they stop fully functioning after a fairly short while. This last pair barely lasted 2 months. Have tried, with no helpful results, contacting apple- it's a known (software I believe) problem, with no solution that I can find, per you tube. These are great headpones, save for dying all the time, did not have any trouble with the model that was prior to this apparently vulnerable lightning cable. When the control toggle works and the microphone (they seems to consistently "die" at the same time together- right after--- out of the blue your iphone asks you if the lightning cable is connected to headphones--- this is the death message---time to find new spare pair) these are the best headphones- not beatz level for sure, but really good. Great for outdoors because you can perfectly hear the ambient sounds so you can still use your ears to keep yourself safe. Great for music, podcasts and talking on the phone. Even after the control toggle fails and you can no longer adjust the volume or pause or answer the phone from the cord,- or be heard without significant interference on a phone call----you can still use them to listen to audible or spotify or whatever. I get that Apple wants everyone to switch to the airpods-- but I never will. I will switch to Android when I can no longer have wired headphones on apple even though I love apple. I value being able to choose wired headphones. I will quit listening to stuff on my phone, whatever it is when I am no longer able to use wired headphones of any kind. So these are great headphones that consistently malfunction which sucks. ... show more

Love this product! Super easy to find and use, high quality - definitely in comparison to the Apple airpods (except efficiency, wires get annoying sometimes). Volume control is easy and comfortable through the buttons. Incredibly user-friendly and not annoying. As a former airpod user, it's nice to not have to worry about bringing multiple chargers for every Apple product ever. ... show more

I gave it five stars since it worked perfectly for a year. I purchased in April 2023. However, now the volume on right side is very low so I have no choice but to purchase another. Hope this one lasts longer than one year.
