This large bean bag chair is sized for adults and is covered with a thick black corduroy material. It feels durable and my kids have not been gentle, yet there are not any split seams yet. It has a zipper but I have not opened it to avoid spilling any stuffing. It is much heavier than I expected so it is not easy to move around (good thing if you have small children). Wow. This thing is way softer than I expected! I thought my kids would like to have a nice spot to sit and relax in the loft and this was the answer. It comes in a vacuum sealed box/bag so it’ll have to decompress for a bit, but it’s not a long wait. The fabric is soft and plush and the foam is comfortable. The bean bag comes shrink wrapped and I could not imagine how it could possibly expand to the size shown in the ad. It didn't take long, but after a few vigorous fluffs, the bean bag reached it's full size. The cordorouy cover is heavy weight and I believe it will stand up well to use and abuse by my kiddos. I haven’t had a bean bag chair in 30 years, so this is a treat for me. I love the purple, super soft fabric cover. The chair is well made. It is very comfortable to sit on. One of my cats has pretty much claimed it already. The entire cover can come off to wash it, which is a huge plus.
