I could have gone with Noctua but decided to pop for these gems and their flash. That was a good choice because these big boys scream quality. Their only problem that I've noticed is that BQ didn't include MOUNTING SCREW'S. For this lapse I may be forced into an unwanted search mission to Home Depot or Ace. ... show more

The fans are quiet, great quality, and the rgb looks nice. Only complaint is the orange and white BeQuiet logo looks bad if you are going for a color scheme that doesn’t include orange. Fortunately it’s a sticker that is easy to peel off, which is what I did and now they fit my build perfectly.

    • Moves a lot of air, Resonating sound around 1000 RPM
I got the high speed triple pack cause it was $84 while amazon boosted the price of the regular speed to $114, the high speed move a ton of air even at low speed however it has this resonating sound to it. Personally I prefer the wub wub wub sound from my fans like a Lasko room fan. Also the RGB lighting looks great especially with purple, the RGB hub is super high quality, which honestly is more than half the reason to pickup the triple pack. The RGB hub fits on a HDD/SSD mounting bracket with the provided screws, which makes it super easy to manage the RGB cables and plug them in or out. It also comes with 3mm tape in case you want to tape it. I especially like the fact it lacks magnets, which magnets and sensitive pc components don't mix well. ... show more

I really wanted to love these. I ordered the three pack of 140mm Light Wings case fans but unfortunately every single one of them suffer from the same issues with the diffuser. First, the LEDs and the gaps between them are easily noticeable. I like the idea of the diffuser because you can see the light ring from the side. However, the lighting is not very even so you see this dot dash pattern across the diffuser ring. Second, there is a noticeable gap at around the 1 o'clock spot on the fan. This appears to be between where the light string under the diffuser starts and stops. Perhaps the adhesive to keep the string of LEDs in place is failing. Either way, all three of my fans I bought suffer the same issue. Third, for those that care about how white the lighting looks, I would say it has a bluish tint and not extremely bright. To be honest the diffuser on the front of the Pure Base 500DX is so good and smooth that I was expecting these to be the similar. However the LEDs on the Pure Base 500DX case seem a bit truer white, in my eyes, and certainly warmer than the bluish white color that the Light Wings produce. Now for the good aspects of the fan. They are not quite as quiet as the Shadow Wings I was using before, but I would say they move more air and the noise is not bothersome. They are certainly better than the Pure Wings 3, which I always felt had a bit grindy or slight buzzing noise. The ARGB hub is a nice addition for the 3 pack because it does prevent you from overloading your ARGB header on your motherboard. The fans can be daisy chained, but the included hub effectively acts as a powered splitter. I use Razer's ARGB hub so I am able to control the lighting on each fan individually. Overall good performing fans but the RGB implementation is flawed. Hopefully this can be resolved by Be Quiet when they make the Light Wings 2. ... show more
