This battery is awesome and it's easy to fit onto the headset. I also have found that when it's time to charge both the handset and this battery it can be done by plugging in from wall to the battery with the battery connected directly to the VR headset. Very nice! I love it!

I got one and it was defective, they quickly sent me another one and yes, it's worth it. It gave me almost 4 extra hours of autonomy and, on top of that, it's light and charges quickly. It's worth every penny.

    • Doesn’t Ruin Oculus Charging
We got our first 2 Oculuses and had to share them between 6 people. Despite my battery life preaching, they used them while plugged into an extension cord. We ended up having to replace them both because they stopped charging whatsoever. Once we got these battery packs I was skeptical if they’d ruin them as well since they aren’t specifically from Meta. But to my surprise they’ve been amazing. They give, at least, an extra 2 hours of play time and have type C chargers. So once you take the Oculus off the charger to play, just plug this baby in and when the battery life gets to critical level on the headset, you can plug this in and continue playing. It adds a tiny bit of weight to the headset, but nothing you can’t ignore. ... show more

    • WILL NOT WORK WITH A QUEST 3, I DIDNT SEE THAT
It can’t work with a quest 3 cause the way it fits on it runs along the plastic rail where the strap connects, and the outlet is located in the curved part of that piece, so if you stick it on the way it shownm for the Quest 2, you cover up the outlet. Besides the battery puts extra weight on the side of the head which is unwieldy, it would be better just to stick it in somewhere on your body and attach it to the back of the headset work as a counterweight, otherwise the difference in weight will create asymmetric damage to the muscles, something people in the sports industry are familiar with when say your leg is injurred, the compensation for the damaged leg will have effect on the driving leg that may add more injury to the opposite leg, same concern here. ... show more
