This little octopus is cute and functional! I bought one for my standard bathtub, which never was deep enough due to water leaving through the overflow drain. The octopus covers the overflow drain but still allows air and water to drain through the "mouth" at the top. It won't stay on the drain cover when it's dry, but stays perfectly once there is water in the bath. I keep it beside the tub and have been taking a lot more baths since I got it. I was skeptical at first that this weird octopus would get the job done. However, rhis is definitely one of my most satisfying buys on Amazon ever. Its cute, cheap, well made, easy to use and keep clean, and it gives me back a ton of tub space for great tub soaks. 10 outta 10 stars.

This is an adorable little cover, and it works as described. There are a series of suction cups that stick the cover over your overflow to allow for more water in the tub. However, this cover does not stay on well for an extended period of time. It does well during the bath, but once I empty the tub, the cover frequently falls off. It needs to be reapplied each time, and stored elsewhere in between. ... show more

A few of octopus’ arms won’t stay on causing the whole octopus to fall in water. I think maybe it needs to be a little bigger to cover the whole metal circle thing.

My new apartment has a fantastic huge bathtub but one issue. The overflow drain is a little low. I figured I would get one of these to get me a little more water to take a comfortable bath. I will say the build quality on this is fantastic. Well molded and does seem to be mold resistant but not proof. I do recommend cleaning it throughly regularly. When it works it does a fantastic job. The issue is the suction cups on it don’t always work. I am not entirely sure what the issue is, it might be the size of them, but it takes me several times to get them to stick well enough to stay in place. Regularly I will think I have it solidly attached to realize that it had fallen off a few minutes later. Once you get it solidly attached it does do a perfect job and looks cute to boot! ... show more
