Great ironing board. Delivery was poor. UPS driver did not bring it to the front door but DROPPED it onto the side of the front porch from the side yard. (I heard it drop, so knew it had been delivered.) He couldn’t be bothered to open the gate and walk it to the front door. My front porch is solid concrete so dropping it over a chain link fence, approximately 4feet, could have damaged it. Luckily it is well made and was well packaged. I had to pay an extra delivery fee for this mistreatment of my order, plus the ironing board costs $140! Having said all that, the ironing board is sturdy but lightweight, height adjustments can go from low to high easily, and the tray at the end that holds the iron is large enough and sturdy enough to hold my big steam iron, which is a big Riwenta steamer with an attached very large water chamber. This is a heavy-duty ironing board. Which means it is heavy because it is wide and made from solid materials and has a few extras like a metal plate in the rear and some sort of collapsible shelf in the front (which I personally could do without). But if you want a solid, wide ironing board, this is it. Granted, finding a storage space might be challenging for this board, and moving it could be somewhat difficult for some folks, but this is a great ironing board. My wife never smiled while ironing--who would? But now with this ironing board and her Rowena steam iron, smiles are aplenty. ... show more

Great for ironing wide items! Very stable, even on carpet. The iron board cover is made with quality material. This ironing board is substantially larger and heavier, so make sure to read the dimensions and measure your space if you have constraints in the room you are using or storing it in. The tray for holding the hot iron is screwed in and doesn't fold under, tjough could be removed. There is only one straaap to hold the cover on the ironing board, but I am planning on adding two or more straps for tauntness. The one strap was poorly designed as it pulls across the stitches, check photos. ... show more

Love this ironing board. I’ve only had cheap squeaky ones all my life. Well this one is great! The hanger rod is so handy for hanging shirts that were just ironed. I also love the iron rest. It gets that iron out of the way when I need to adjust the fabric. Two negatives, this board is a bit heavy to carry and there are wheels to help with that. However, the wheels are a brittle plastic. Hopefully they’ll hold up. Second, I had to order this twice. The first time one end of the box had some rough treatment and one of the wheels was broken. Box arrived in good condition, but it appears the ironing board was allowed to move around inside the packaging and ended up bent/warped. I did not notice this until after I had discarded the packaging. It was fairly easy to manipulate the metal back into its appropriate shape, so I figured I would keep the product since the packing had been discarded and it would be a huge hassle to get packaging to fit such a large item for a return. I set the ironing board up & used it a couple of times. When I proceeded to lower the board to its storage position, the release lever slipped off the track & the ironing board fell apart into several pieces . Both legs fell off and several small plastic parts broke. I have tried several times to try put the ironing board back together with no success. Plus, even if I did get it put back together I would not be confident it wouldn’t just collapse again. I’m so disappointed in this product. It’s not a cheap purchase and I’m left with a completely unusable product. I HAVE NEVER HAD AN IRONING BOARD LITERALLY FALL TO PIECES. An ironing board should be stable and last for years, even with heavy use. Very poor assemble and quality control. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. ... show more

I like that it is very sturdy and wide. I use this mostly for pressing sewn items (quilts) so the extra width is appreciated. There is a small "hump" in the center of the board that runs along the length of the mechanism that raises and lowers the board. It is only slightly annoying when pressing. (A third world problem) The tray that holds the iron is great. There is a nice tray below that holds items needing to be ironed. It raises and lowers easily. ... show more

Evrything about the ordering process and delivery process went great. The product operates as described and appears well-built out of the box, EXCEPT .... we saw that the strap that attaches the cover was broken on one side (see attached picture). I reached out to the company to ask them to send a replacement; that should be easier, faster and less expensive than returning the whole ironing board for a replacement. These are expensive ironing boards, so I should have a good cover with this new purchase. Also, these ironing boards are an odd size so finding a replacement cover might be tough; again, not something I should have to deal with for a brand new expensive product. I'll report back and update this feedback with progress (or lack of). ... show more
