I have 2 German Shepherds who are 9 years old. I feed them dry dog food only. Their skin gets dry and flakey. I researched best brands, reviews and cost. The Bark&Spark Omega Skin and Coat salmon oil was the best choice for me. I buy the Bacon and the Salmon flavor chewables. They love both flavors. I will try the other flavors too. When I give them the chews I also do refresher training (sit, lay down, leave it etc) and is a healthy way of giving treats and serving a purpose. It says may take up to or about three weeks to make a difference but I did notice a difference just after a week. Their fur is shinier and skin healthier. No dandruff. This is Sunnie my 8 month old golden retriever. He has sensitive skin and I first noticed the dry patch on his leg…doctor prescribed me hot spot medication spray, and told me to see if It works. I knew It wasnt a hot spot and the spray seemed to make It worse. I then put coconut oil thinking maybe it’s just dry skin. When i returned from a trip i noticed that he now had a pink patch of skin on his nose. This is when i realized it’s not a hotspot nor dry skin. As someone in the beauty industry my first thought was this is something internal either food sensitivity or lack of essential oils so I ordered these chews to give it a try. In 3 DAYS i saw tremendous results and I was giving him 1/2 of the correct dose for his size because he is a puppy I didn’t want to upset his tummy. Definitely worth every penny! I haven't tried one, but my dogs really love the taste. I can only assume they're helping their coats as well, but I don't have a control group to compare since all my dogs beg for these.

I bought this after checking the reviews noticing that there was a few good ones but only about how easy it is for the animal to take. That part is true my dog enjoyed them had no problem with him eating the chews unfortunately that's was all the product was good for it has been a full month now an i have given him the proper dosage for his weight and nothing has changed hes still has hot spots coat has not gotten softer or shinier infact I believe his itching has gotten worse. This is not a good product and i also thought t was a money back guarantee and its not I tried to return this product right before review and it will not allow me to false advertisement a huge issue and this product had made my dogs itching worse and did nothing for what it says it will do.. NO STARS FROM ME ! this company should be ashamed of advertising lies on a product people seek out help for their animals on!!!! ... show more
