My husband and I have recently started making cocktails at home, and this is our first basic set. Everything seems very durable and works well so far. I purchased a second shaker and jigger so we can make more than one cocktail before needing to do the dishes. They are both barfly brand as well, but not the same items in this set. The second shaker set has a much thicker/heavier base, and the jigger is not the Japanese style that comes in this set. I prefer the other style jigger over the Japenese style, but they both get the job done- just personal preference. I'll update my review once we've used the set more to comment on durability, etc. ... show more

Edit: I am leaving my original review below. After recieving another bad unit from Amazon I contacted Barfly by Mercer directly and they made it right. They said they are working to address the problems with the one shaker cup and the replacement they sent me has a much better feel to it. As I am writing this post I have used the kit a few times a week for about a month and I have had no other problems. The stainless is holding its shine well and hasn't discolored and the cups seal well. Overall great product and I am happy with the customer support I recieved. Everything looks and works great but I gave it 2 stars because of what seems like a manufacturing defect. The second time I washed the shakers (by hand) the bottom fell off the large one. I am going to try contacting the seller to see if I can get it replaced. It appears the large shaker was only spot welded in a couple of places and they just flaked off where the smaller shaker has a bead welded all the way around. ... show more

I work for a restaurant in disney and we use barfly products. I had originally gotten a cheaper set but it didn’t work well so I got these. I’m very pleased with the feel, looks, functionality and quality of this set. Highly recommend.
