Ladies I can't begin to tell you how any foundations I have tried since I've went through menopause. I found the perfect shade just by reading the description, I'm cool to neutral but not pale. This watery liquid foundation evens up my skin tone unlike heavier products image tried which left me cakes looking. The finish is Matt, stays pit and doesn't emphasize my fine lines. I admit I am a tough critic when it comes to foundations. We’ve all seen (or been) the person whose face looks like it’s a mask because of the wrong type/application/color of foundation. And if you’re like me, you’ve probably wasted money on various foundations that work for someone else, but not your own skin. What I can tell you is that this foundation is lightweight and has a buildable coverage. At times, I just dabbed it with a beauty blender on the areas I needed to even out color-wise, so basically I was using it like a cc cream. When I went the “full-face” route, it applied and blended most naturally for me with a brush. Now, the negatives for me based upon my skin type (oily) & 43 years old 😆, were that the foundation dries rather quickly. I found myself applying more than I probably needed to try and even out blending issues. I also found that due to my oily skin type, the foundation wore off of my chin and cheeks more quickly. I used the Dermalogica primer, which is a BLESSING for those of us with enlarged pores, but it didn’t help the foundation stay. I’ve experimented with setting spray and powder, and for my skin type, this just isn’t a long-lasting winner. However I’d like to be clear that this is great for a more sheer, minimalist covering on my own skin. ... show more

At 29, I would have never expected to still have acne, but alas, it's here and ready to party (I'm also pregnant, so all bets are off for when this is going away). Pros: -Liquid foundation applied with clean fingers has been the best option for controlling breakouts; I have found that brushes and powder, no matter how much I clean them, spread bacteria like it's their job. -This foundation is heavy when applied for strong, even coverage, but doesn't feel heavy on the skin. -It doesn't clog my pores (I would know... #acne). -It mixes well with basic (CeraVe) moisturizer, allowing me to use less product for daily use. -The last bottle that I purchased lasted several months (I don't actually remember when I bought it, which is a good sign!) Cons: -It doesn't wash off your fingers easily, which is a testament to the product, but creates a bit of a mess in the bathroom. I recommend having soap and a towel handy immediately after application to wash your hands. -It can be tricky to get the color correct online; I recommend going into the store to prevent purchasing the wrong shade. -It's unclear what their actual policy is for returning/exchanging shades. I contacted customer service once, and they told me that I had to go into the store to exchange shades, which didn't align to what the promotional banner on the website said. #fineprint Overall, this is my go-to. It has SPF, which is awesome, and it gets the job done. I like the liquid much better than the powder from this line based on my skin needs. The price is less on Amazon; if I notice any significant differences in the quality of the product over time, I'll be sure to revise this review. ... show more

I just want to say I love the coverage and sunblock this make up provides.. but I have a bit of a love hate relationship with this bottle; The tolerance of the cap to the plastic neck of foundation is soo tight, that the spilled over makeup leaves a residue over time and bonds the two surfaces together. At first it was tolerable (pun intended), with me having to pry the two pieces apart and clean the cap and neck to get them to play nicely together. But now, the cap took the pump head with it, and I had to physically pull the cap and plastic neck apart to get it out. through cheer force, the foundation spilled and managed to get on my clothes. So thank you for leaving me a nearly full bottle of foundation I can’t use and a pair of white pants that I can’t wear. If you can’t fix the design, or pay for the dry cleaning, at least provide instructions on how to get your makeup out of out clothing. Thanks. ... show more
