This tool is worth the price. I was able to till my garden soil and raised beds both of which did not have hard soil to begin with. Not sure if it will work on clay like soil or soil with rocks/stones. It tilled my beds and I was able to mix in my manure. Was not too hard to operate. Wish they had provided more spare screws because one fell off while I was tilling (I had not tightened it) ... show more

This thing is a wonder! It reaches deep into the soil, then just give it a twist and up come the rocks and hard clay soil that have ruined my gardening life and my back. Two things you should know: I used it on soil I had already loosened by hand. I just wanted something to finish the job with an extra oomph. And it had a lot of oomph. The other thing is that I am 73 years old with osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. So . . . well . . . it works but I don't work so well any more. It's a sturdy piece though. Takes a lot of strength. Complete waste of money hurt my hands really bad and the tiller starts to bend almost immediately and just in reality it took me two days just to make a line so unless you’re like a bodybuilder and or you want to be, I wouldn’t waste my money it it made it to where I decided a Rototiller was worth the money to not have to deal with this product ... show more
