This compact cart does the job to hold wine bottles, wine glasses, with some additional storage on top for coasters, etc. I found it a bit of a challenge to assemble with less than clear instructions resulting in mid assembly disassembly and reassembly, but I am satisfied with how it turned out. This bar cart is a great size! I love that it’s not super huge like some of them. It was easy to assemble and looks great with my dark walnut furniture in my living room. It’s also very sturdy. I don’t have to worry about it collapsing under the weight of bottles and glasses.

My kitchen is big on floorspace but my counter space is minimal. This wine cart has offered a unique solution. There are no wine bottles sitting in the bottom, instead there is are storage bins that fit just perfectly underneath. The height is not as tall as the built in counters but is still tall enough for you to comfortably use without awkward bending or reaching. I have it opposite the one small prep counter that exists in my kitchen and now dinners (or any time we're cooking) flow a lot easier. There is room for a plate to be moved out of the prep space or for someone to put down a cup to refill a drink. While this wine cart's intention is an organized way to serve alcohol, my family loves it as a countertop extension. Even being on wheels is helpful if it needs to be nudged on way or another for someone. It has been a great fit in my kitchen despite the unique usage. From an assembly standpoint, the parts came together well, until the top of the cart. The two top boards that make the cart top do not sit flush with each other. I double checked the positioning, switched them around to see if the boards needed to be a specific side, rotated the boards but the messed up the screw hole alignment, and basically fussed with them for a bit but no luck. So while it is not an immediately noticeable thing, it does bug me that I couldn't get this one section of the entire cart to mesh well. ... show more

The materials and hardware are excellent quality. Assembly took longer than expected, but was straightforward. The assembly instructions were OK, although details were difficult to see on the small diagrams. Each item can be identified by a small numbered sticker...those stickers left some sticky residue on some of the parts. Room for three bottles on their side in the wire rack, and three rows of glasses to hang by their stems (probably 9 glasses, depending on their size). There is also room for additional bottles on the bottom shelf. The top and shelf are sturdy and finished, so that they do not stain and are easy to clean/dust. The top is actually two pieces, and the black metal straps are a nice touch to mend the seam between the two halves. There are also small black metal corners which provide a great access on the corners of the top piece. Seems like a good value...would work well in a small apartment. ... show more

This bar cart seems to be sturdy, I like the wood and the color. It's got plenty of screws holding it tightly together which is reassuring considering my hubby will be using this to store his expensive rum collection to put it on display. We will be buying nice stemware to store on this as well. It's really nice to have a designated spot for his alcohol to go and the glassware. Makes it better that it's on wheels too- which lock too! Directions were very easy to understand, they were clear and everything was labeled. The only problem I personally had is it got difficult for me to screw in some of the screws and got tedious. Hurt my wrist a lot, but again that is a me issue. So ladies, I will say I do enjoy putting things together, but this bar cart can be time consuming to put together because al of the screws so I recommend tasking your husband to put this together and save your wrist the trouble. It's an elegant bar cart, my hubby said it looks better in person than it did in the pictures and he really likes it. It's a good size, not too big- we have a small place so it works out that it's not super big. $50 isn't a bad price either. Hubby happy to have a place to put his alcohol (he's a bartender so he loves this). Win win all around. ... show more
