  • GREAT FOR STORAGE, TRANSPORTING STUFF, COLLEGE STUDENTS
Size: 6 Pack
If you are familiar with file folder boxes aka bankers boxes, this is exactly the product you are looking for. If you are unfamiliar with these boxes, they are excellent for storage. File folders fit perfectly, but we also use them for general storage. We use these boxes for storage all over our house. Our spare storage closet is piled sky high with these boxes. They are also excellent for storage in regular closets and under (elevated) beds. In addition, we use them for transporting belongings to and from college. Labelled boxes make unpacking super easy. Since the boxes flatten, they can easily be stored under a bed. Alternatively, leave some assembled, toss a sheet over the top and voila! Makeshift table. PROS: — easy to assemble — sturdy — piles sky high with 450 pounds stacking strength — easy to label — very versatile — good size — easy to carry, handles optional CONS: — Be aware that the price fluctuates widely on all quantities of these bankers boxes. If you don’t like what you see, come back in a few days and look again. — When you change the contents of the box, you already wrote on it. I know of no easy fix for this, but you do have two sides you can write on. Over time, this leads to a lot of crossing out and rewriting. — Lids are like socks in the dryer. If you get enough of these boxes, over time you will find that you unfathomably have more boxes than lids. No clue how this happens. ... show more

  • Description says six boxes, but you only get three boxes
Size: 6 Pack
listing says six boxes but it actually includes only three boxes. The description is deliberately misleading

  • Magic boxes?
Size: 6 Pack
Have been buying these boxes for years, inexpensive but sturdy. Gave them to my grandson for Christmas joike (hint from family it was time for him to move out) Grandson told me they were "magic boxes" three days later, a landlord called & had a unit available for him to rent.

  • Neatness and capacity
Size: 6 Pack
These boxes are strong, roomy, businesslike, and good-looking. They arrive flat, and you have to put them together. There are some perforated lines; some are to be cut apart, but some are to be folded— not cut! Study the diagrams, hints, and arrows carefully and follow them correctly. Alternatively, do the best you can with the first one, and (as I did) learn which ones you should _not_ have cut, and fit the pieces back together with 2-inch packaging tape; if you're filling boxes, you probably already have some of that. Their strength and capacity may lull you into packing them with more books and reams of paper than you'll feel like lifting and carrying around. We learn by doing. And don't forget to label each box prominently (and legibly) with the nature of its contents: otherwise, they'll all look the same and you'll be sorry. But I'm not sorry I got these boxes; I've been using them, and buyng more, for decades. I've been lending them to friends who strangely move away. ... show more

  • Good ones have a diagonal handle cut out
Size: 6 Pack
I have a number of Banker boxes. I ordered more, and well I suppose these are legitimate they're not nearly as heavy as the ones I have. It looks slightly different. Good ones have a diagonal handle cut out. These things are flimsy and would not survive being carried around once or twice while full of documents ... show more

  • Safe & Sturdy!
Size: 6 Pack
I ordered these boxes for file storage & also to put keepsakes of the kids in so that there neatly stored in the closet. They are very sturdy boxes that come with lids & space to write on the end of the box so that everything is labeled & easily accessible. The handles on the boxes make it super easy to grab down whichever box you need. I am very happy with this purchase! ... show more

  • These boxes are great! They are just what I was looking for
Size: 6 Pack
These boxes are great! They are just what I was looking for. They are easy to assemble, light weight and the carrying handles are nice. They are not very large but that's OK because any larger and I doubt I could carry the ones I filled with books. I love that they are cardboard (Happy Earth Day). I specifically wanted cardboard rather than those ubiquitous plastic tubs because I hate plastic and I'm on a mission to buy as little plastic as possible. I just ordered a lot more. We are doing some renovations and need to put all our things away. ... show more

  • hard to assemble without tearing them up
Size: 6 Pack
The lid and box are one piece when they arrive; you have to "separate" them. I tried doing this with my hands as well as with scissors. Eventually I decided to damage the box rather than hurt myself doing this. Thus the boxes are damaged and they look like they have been chewed on. So they have to be out of view. I had to bend the sides to push them inside the box where they belong. So the box was compromised by the time I got done building it. The copy paper boxes I have are more sturdy and, since these are all messed up now, the copy paper boxes look better than the banker boxes. There was no point in my buying these. After assembling a few, I am just going to use copy paper boxes instead. In my case, this was not a good use of money. ... show more
