At first, I thought I received the wrong product because of the rubber tips on the ends of the "feet." Surprise. These files are versatile as they can be stationary or used with wheels for the rolling feature. Two of the wheels have locks on them to prevent the file from unwanted "run aways." (The user can decide where to place the wheels with locks. PHOTO: I placed mine in the front.) The wheels were super easy to install, and the locking wheels are easy to lock/unlock; the nifty wrench tool that comes with the rolling feet made removing the rubber tips a lot easier than trying to get the tips off by hand. Once I got the hang of using the wrench, the process was quick and easy. I love the look of these--natural--and they slide and are stored neatly under my desk (PHOTO). The hanging file folders hang and slide ok-- if they were coated, I think they would slide even better, but they are not. The only negative is there was a strong, somewhat musty "natural fiber" (?) odor to them after first unboxing and installing, but the smell has dissipated considerably over a day's time. (I had a room freshener plugged in initially, but I don't really need it anymore to mask the odor.) I replaced my two mismatched metal file cabinets with these (x 4--one for each drawer), and I'm very pleased with the results. Thank you. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Received it today. I found it very easy to put the casters on, appears sturdy but time will tell, it did not have a strong odor and was the color I expected. It does not lock, but that’s not a priority for me. Love the roominess and functionality inside. Seems sturdy even after fully loaded. It’s heavy when all the files are inside, but the handles allow you to use two people to lift it if needed. If it’s still in good shape after six months, I’m going to buy another. ... show more

NOTE: this cart DOES come with rolling wheels that are easy to assemble. You need a pair of pliers to pull off the plastic legs (this does require a little bit of strength), then you push in the wheels. It is very easy to do! This rolling filing cart was a great purchase for my home office. I had a little plastic box that I used previously, and I was always lifting it and moving it around. This piece of “furniture” stays in one place, other than when I roll it closer to me when looking for a file. I use it to store homeschool documents and monthly bills.
