  • bango
Size: Full Size
Great beginer bango that i got for my husband for xmas. he has been wanting to learn and he loves this bango. he said he was researching them and this is the one he wanted. I read all reviews on so many of them and really just went by best review . I wasnt sure if 5 string or more or less strings and had to do a lot of googling since i know nothing about bangos. This was the jackpot according to my husband. thank god lol he loves it so much i had to share a review about it. he says its sturdy and plays well. everything you need to start out was there. i did read another review that suggested better strings so i did buy better strings and stuck them in with the rest of the things that came with it. and i have to say since december he has gotten good. he watches a guy on you tube that does lessons and it finally sounds like hes actually playing an actual song lol and its only been a month! and he never picked up a bango in his life! ... show more

  • Great Beginners Instrument
Size: Concert Banjolele
I bought this for my brother for Christmas. He plays his instruments by ear and he loved the sound this new addition made. Great Price too!

Size: Tenor Banjolele
This is a great banjolele and I like it very much. However the strings are poor quality. One broke immediately and I had to purchase all new strings.

  • The package is the value
Size: Concert Banjo Ukulele
If you’re like me and play another string instrument and are just curious about this new instrument it’s a decent entry level instrument but if you just want to buy things like a tuner strap cleaning supplies, pick’s, etc than this is cheaper than trying to buy those items individually so you could just think of the instrument as being an added free gift with purchase included with the other included items. ... show more

HARD TO TUNE

  • Sounds good. Great deal
Size: Tenor Banjolele
I am very happy with this banjolele. It sounds great even with the included strings. I bought a new set of strings to replace them but only needed to change one out because I broke it. The included items make this a really good deal. The case is decent with some padding and a pocket for carrying picks and stuff. The tuner works fine and the strap attaches easily to the pin on one end and one of the braces on the pot. Also locating the bridge with the included ruler was a piece of cake. I will say the frets were rough on the outside of the neck. I saw this as a con on one of the online reviews. I thought it was sort of funny how Kmise dealt with that problem by including a little square of sand paper for you to smooth it out yourself! No big deal though, it didn't take much to smooth them out. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others ... show more

  • Unique voice
Size: Concert Banjolele
I’m not a uke or banjo player. I play guitar in Irish sessions and someone brought one to the session. It was loud enough to hear over the rest and it looked cool. My instrument came in good condition without a case or gig bag. I didn’t get the cool package with all that. I tuned up and started playing. It’s got a consistent tone with a unique voice. I don’t think there’s much usable neck beyond the third or fourth fret. Not much sound anyway but it seems most uke players are always using first position chords. That being said, I’m satisfied with the instrument but sorry I missed buying the package with the case, tuner and whatever else they included. ... show more

  • No end user help or basic manual included. Poor QC
Size: Full Size
Arrived basic soft wrapping, in the carrying case, in a box, in a box. The resonance back board was dismounted and only attached by two screws, the back plate tension screws was bent (though no damage to the resonance board). After spending an hour realigning and fixing the back plate issues I have come to the conclusion that the instrument is poorly designed. The arm rest blocks one of the mounting screws, the sounding board is just thrown together and removing and refitting to suit your preferred style of banjo isn't a viable option. In order to replace the drum skin you will need to remove the resonance board and then struggle to refit it. The arm rest is two far up the body with no option to move (have to remove the resonance board and drill a new hole to fit the mounting hardware, and then struggle to put back together) the shoulder strap connection fell off as it is only held on the minimal thread. The quality of the instrument hardware is very low the finishing needs finishing, the tuning knobs are are also super slack and don't hold the string tension very well. The finger picks as basic, the spare string are of unknown quality, and the documentation is zero. On the bright side, it has a banjo sound and if you're willing to put up with the poor design (fix it and never take the back off) it's reasonable value. Can't recommend it though. Shop around before you choose this brand. ... show more
