This little gun worked flawlessly. I read from a few reviews the lid is loose on the gun. The lid on mine fit tight and did not leak at all. I did tape it down with 1 peice of blue tape just to be sure, but i doubt I needed it. The adjustments were nice. The fact you have several spray tips was also a plus. I ran laquer through it when i was done and then took it apart and cleaned it. It worked great the second time I sprayed with it too. ... show more

I was skeptical of this product. Here's a few good/ bad pointers. - It has 3 different tip size which is great and you can decide which works best for the type of project you need it for. Unlike other guns that only bring one and you are stuck with just that one. - the cup is a pretty good size and holds a good amount of material - it also brings a pressure regulator on the gun which gives you better control of the psi you need for the various projects. WHAT I DIDNT LIKE - The cover of the cup. It does not screw on but rather just sets in place. It makes me uncomfortable when I'm going to spray at an angle as it gives me the fear that the cover will fall off. I would prefer a screw on cover. - Although it's not been a real problem as yet but it seems to be an issue to spray too low to the floor or any object that could be below. The hose connector is at the bottom and after adding the regulator plus a liquid separator/filter to the gun it becomes uncomfortable. I would prefer the hose connection to be on the side if possible to have better flexibility. In general it has performed pretty well and I have not had major issues. ... show more

I sprayed new gel-coat on my bass boat and this spray gun did it's job! I only sprayed the top edges so did not have a lot of gel-coat to go around. I needed a thick layer with little over spray. Took small adjustments once I swapped the spray gun to over to 2.5 size. Very pleased with it's job!

Took me a bit to get it set right but once it's on the mark you know it. I'm not real sure I like that cup lid that will pop off if your air hose bumps it or something else hits the edge of it. I was using in an inflatable paint booth so when I ducked and went inside the second time, I just barely touched the zipper on the opening causing the lid to come off and hit the bottom of the booth. Luckily the booth was new and clean, and I only had about a half cup of lacquer primer in it so I got lucky and didn't make a huge mess. Lesson learned though. Easy to use otherwise. Clean nozzle with thinner and dry with compressed air after every coat. I always shoot a little thru the gun then dump the rest in my brush cleaning jar. Waiting for warmer weather so I can finish the project I bought it for. ... show more
