I got this for my grandkids and pawpaw to play in the basement and let me tell you....it's been a hit!! > can barely get visit time in because they're playing ball with pawpaw lol. Ok seriously this is a wonderful and sturdy set up. My husband put it together in no time. I recently purchased the BAGAIL Basketball Arcade Game, and it has been a fantastic addition to our game room! The variety of 8 game modes keeps things exciting, catering to both casual players and those looking for a competitive challenge. This is an awesome shooting game that truly brought me back to some childhood memories! My buddies and I used to go to the bowling alley to see who could score higher on a very similar game and this game is almost as fun. The overall quality is great and seems very durable even if you plan to keep it outside. I very much appreciate that it folds down to take up less space when not in use. The only bummer is that it only includes 4 balls which is about half of what I'd expect, but getting more balls is easy enough that its not worth docking a star.     • Updated: Got assembled, a great pickup overall, with some instruction issues
Update 11/18/2024: I got the replacement part, they shipped it where it only took about a week to get direct from their factory in China via UPS Expedited. Overall, I learned that if you leave a bad review, their customer service is extremely fast and responsive to wanting to set it right. The instructions leave a bit to be desired. Many of the steps seem to mislabel which bolts to use - in a couple of cases, directing the use of bolts that are way too short to even go all the way through the pieces they're supposed to connect. I tried to document the specific ones I found: - Step 3 direction #5 tells you to use bolt #24 to connect tubes labeled 7 & 8 to the tubes labeled 2; the visual is labeled as bolt #26. In fact, neither seems correct, bolt 25 seems to fit best. - Step 4 direction #6 tells you to use bolt #24 to connect tubes labeled 2 to tubes labeled 12; bolt #25 seems to fit best. - Step 8 direction #13 tells you to use bolt #25 to mount the backboard; bolt #26 works here. I also found that I ran out of washers before assembly was completed, and I had to dig into my own stash of washers. Overall, it wasn't that difficult to assemble once I figured out that the manual had a few bolts mislabeled, and in the end there was an appropriate length bolt for all connections but hopefully in future shipments to other customers they'll reprint and fix the installation guide. Probably my one complaint when actually playing the game is that the scoreboard being pretty primative you have to know what games are what number (i.e. game 1 is beat the clock, game 2 is 3 pointers to beat the clock, game 3 is a battle game to see who can get up on their opponent by 10 points, etc) and know the rules to the games (or keep the manual handy nearby). It'd be great if the scoreboard was just a little more sophisticated, being able to display a word name for the game like "HORSE" instead of having to know it's game 4 would go a long way. Still, for the price, I'm pretty impressed with the quality, the unit seems sturdy enough yet lightweight and easy to move around, the baskets seem to register the shots correctly, the ball return is fairly smooth, so really it was a great pickup and will be a fun addition to my game room. Update 11/11/2024: I contacted the support email of the manufacturer listed on their Amazon profile and they offered to ship a whole new unit, initially claiming they couldn’t ship just the missing part. Separately, though, the manufacturer did reach out in response to the review, saying they could ship me the parts or replace the whole thing… logistically speaking it’s probably easiest to just get the parts vs exchange so I’m having them do that. So far happy with the prompt customer service response and they are definitely willing to make things right for the packaging error. I’ll update this review further once I get the parts and get a chance to assemble and use it. Original review: The instructions say to lay out all the parts to make sure they’re here… I am missing qty 2 of the tube part #8. Since it’s a tube part of the frame, not like a missing screw or washer I could replace at the hardware store. If the manufacturer wants to contact me to get me the part I’ll reevaluate this review but for now it’s 1 star as unusable. ... show more

We got this for our son after he asked for a basketball hoop. Unfortunately, because people use our street as a drag strip to cut between two main roads, we couldn’t get him one for the front yard. So, we found something he could use on the back patio instead. It was easy to set up and came with everything we needed. My husband said it took about 20-30 minutes to assemble, and he and the kids were shooting hoops all night afterward. Now, our son spends his afternoons going back and forth between his trampoline and shooting hoops. He’s happy, and we’re happy! ... show more

This is just as fun as you'd think it would be if you ever played in an arcade. The two stars come off for including screws that don't actually fit the where the instructions tell you they should. Luckily by substituting SOME with others, we were able to get it together. It folds up, but not really that compact. Just FYI, this is for indoor use only. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This basketball arcade game required quite a bit of assembly. The instructions were pretty good, but were missing a sentence here or there, and some things were unclear. I put it together myself, but it would have been much easier with a helper. The instructions do tell you that, I just didn't have anyone around to help me. The hardest part was putting the backboard on. Alone, the assembly took me about 3 hours and fifteen minutes. Once assembled, I was impressed with how sturdy it was, and how well the nets caught the ball when it went off course and channeled it into the center. The backboard is made from particle board, and would probably not hold up well outdoors. The scoreboard works well (AA batteries required), and you can play with one or two players. You can play with the sound off if you want, so the kids could play at night without waking the whole house. It can also be folded up if you need to clean or whatever. It's a lot of fun to play. All things considered, I think it's a good value. It's sturdy, fun to play, and would make a great gift. ... show more
