    • Why does it need butter, milk and sugar?
Will not be buying again, must have missed the extra ingredients found in this product. Typically I trust Badia products as they are "clean" items free of extra stuff but they missed the mark with this one. Not sure why black garlic needs natural butter flavor (milk) and sugar. Disappointed.

    • Do NOT buy--black garlic powder all over the place.
I opened the mailer, not remembering what I had ordered. There we these black seeds all over the inside of the mailer. Then I pulled out the Badia Black Garlic plastic jar and remembered what I had purchased awhile back. Usually the Badia spices have a security plastic covering over them that I have to cut with a knife. This jar did not have this and the cap was not on tightly. I opened it to find that the inside white security covering that usually needs to be ripped off was already curling up at the edges and that's how the spices leaked out. There were moisture marks around the edge of this inside covering. I just cannot bring myself to TRUST this product with this many defects. Sad to find out that Amazon does NOT offer return on this product, so I'm out $10. ... show more

I have never tried this before but it is great! Has a fine granular texture with lots of flavor. Also the black color looks good in the food like pepper. It has a strong taste of garlic that has done well in eggs, soup and a variety of other dishes. Give this a try if you have not used it before.

Found black garlic a little over a year ago and fell in love at first taste! Decided to give this brand a try since there is little to no salt in this - most other brands list salt as the number one ingredient...if I wanted salt, I would add salt as needed. Love this stuff, especially on steaks! I like to coat the steaks and let them marinate overnight (or at least a few hours) before grilling. ... show more

It's very good. I figured out what I like it best on. Burgers. Wow! It gives a delicious umami type flavor that you can't quite put your finger on. After trying it with a few other foods including soups I wasn't sure what this would be best with. Then I seasoned some lean hamburgers and pan fried them. It is outstanding on beef. I do think it's a little pricey for a seasoned salt, but it's worth it. If you've tried everything else you should try this. ... show more

A good mix of black garlic and other spices. Great on steak, fries, eggs, salads, fish and just about everything. Mix with butter and lather up a potato for the best baked potato ever!

    • Unusable after a few months!
It turned into a solid block of concrete after a while. Even jabbing it with a knife couldn't break it up! Waste of money.
