Ive ordered a lot of cloves and bought alot over the years, there was a good ammount powdered in the bottom. We bought these ones specifically to flavor already store bought liqour, making things like mulled wine and brandy infusions, apple pie etc, these are very strong, 2 cloves will almost over power an entire quart, if your baking with it like we plan to use the rest for do so sparringly. This company is very good with all of its spices, they have always been spot on, very flavorful on everything ive ever bought, everything has always been stronger, fresher, and better smelling/tasting than any other brand, other than buying the ingredients fresh/wet. The rosemary is also good but not quite as good as from my own garden. But as a dried herb better than store bought always ... show more

    • This is the way to buy Cloves!
I do a lot of baking and cooking recipes that use cloves quite a bit. The price of the jars in the grocery stores is just getting unreal! Searched on my trusty Amazon and found this bag of Cloves at a much better price. The cloves arrived fresh and in good shape. They come in a bag for storage, but I transfer all my spices into air tight containers regardless. So, can't comment on how long they stay fresh in the bag, but no problems in my containers. The package has no GMO it’s kosher it’s vegan. It’s salt Free and it’s 100% cloves. The smell is wonderful. It’s packaged good with no preservatives and it’s about 4 ounces or 112 g. I would definitely recommend this.
