" These questions point to the product's core component-the digital temperature controller. The digital temperature controller has two modes: "heating" and "refrigeration". (The refrigeration mode is generally used for cold storage temperature control.) Only the heating function works when you connect it with the heating pad. The controller is very flexible, and you can customize the highest temperature, temperature return, Fahrenheit/Celsius and delay start time. The controller has a default setting with the highest temperature being 160℉ (which actually can be adjusted to 248℉). Before use, please read the instructions and adjust the corresponding parameters according to your desired temperature. It is recommended that you conduct a pilot run with an EMPTY chamber in case of excessive temperatures resulting in damage. Ensure that bottom surface of the vacuum chamber is clean and free from debris before adhering heat pad. Recently, we launched a new product, add a connector between the controller and the heating pad (amazon.com/dp/B075GDKSDB). The customer can purchase a single controller and control multiple heating pads. At present, there are four sizes that match the full range vacuum chamber of Brand BACOENG. Controller could use some upgrading. Display isn't secure, mystery button and it doesn't do a very good job of holding your set temp. Sways way over when heating and holds way low before turning on again.

When I first got it I didn’t notice anything wrong but now I’ve noticed when I set the temperature it sometimes goes way higher and it’s ruined my batch of goods on 2 separate occasions now. Would not buy this brand again

    • Easy to use this heat pad
Size: 6" Style: Fixed
First of all, it’s very convenient to use. It heats up fast too – 160F in 5mins. The instruction is clear and easy to understand how to adjust the default data in the controller. And secondly, most of the heating pads come with glue to stick it under the vacuum chamber but with this one, you can fit it directly to the chamber. Make sure you’re using the correct size of chamber. I got a 3 gallon vacuum chamber and a 5 gallon one. The heating efficiency wasn’t relatively good when you use 9” Bacoeng Vacuum Heating Pad for a 5 gallon vacuum chamber. Also be extremely aware of the offset temperature. For more details read the instruction. Let me point out an example. When you set the chamber temperature to 120F using the controller, the temperature of the chamber inside the surface would be around 111F. So now all you do is add 9F (9F Offset) to the controller i.e. change the controller reading from 120F to 129F. With this, you can achieve the 120F on the inside surface of the chamber. The heating performance is rapidly fast. The heating material is made of Etched metal foil/wire wound with a heater thickness of 1.5mm. And I noticed the silicone and rubber insulation. By the way, be careful not to touch the pads with your hands. At the moment when I purchased this heater, I was the first one to review it.
