I love this carrier I had just received it Friday and was able to use at the pumpkin patch with my 2 month old baby love how sturdy and comfortable it is and he seems to like it but he’s keeps eating the side where it holds the head and it gets soaked but hey we can wash it. Just sad that it only goes up to 1 yrs old and we won’t be able to use it after so I’m debating if I should opt for the bigger ones that are 0-3 years so I don’t waste my money. ... show more

After doing a ton of research on carriers, I ordered an ergo baby. After about 30 minutes of adjusting and readjusting between myself and my husband, it got put back in the box to be returned. My next order was this. My only hesitation in ordering this originally was that it only went to 12 months however it is far superior than the ergo baby in carrying My newborn! It’s also super easy to snap on and adjust. What took me several minutes with the ergo took me seconds with the Bjorn Mini. The ease of use is amazing and it is a super fast adjustment between my husband and myself. With the tightening of just two straps, it can be switched between the two of us. It’s also very easy to get the baby in and out of the carrier. The ergo had a snap around the back that was next to impossible to snap together. It also had incredibly bulky shoulder straps- I love the internal harness that you just slip on- the design of this carrier is second to NONE. It’s also very sleek and non-bulky and incredibly breathable. I ordered the mesh which is a very breathable fabric but also just the design is more breathable than the ergo. We may go ahead and order the bigger bjorn carrier but one thing is for sure.. we’ll be sticking to this brand. The only negative? If you’ve got sizable busts, which many women do when they’re breast-feeding, the fit can be a little odd. Mine sits directly under my bust- it’s not uncomfortable but I do wish that it could shimmy down a little bit and be readjusted. ... show more

I personally am disappointed in this carrier because it's expensive but does not provide any comfort for the person wearing it - my lower back hurts very bad and my shoulders are sore as hell after wearing this for more than an hour around the house trying to get things done - there should be a lumbar support strap to help evenly distribute the weight that is carried! This carrier pulls your shoulders forward and gives you a stiff neck like you worked out your neck and shoulders for a whole day, it's so unfortunate for such an expensive carrier. I did give it three stars however because my baby finds it very comfortable and has no problem sleeping in it, because it does look sleek and is easy on the eyes (some carriers are just ugly, let's be honest), and because my husband (who has larger back and shoulder muscles) has no problem wearing it for more than an hour aka he doesn't have any complaints about sore muscles or poor weight distribution. So I guess it depends on the person wearing it but I ended up buying the infantino flip 4-in-1 carrier (because I also plan on wearing my baby on my back when he gets old enough because that would make it way easier to do certain chores as opposed to wearing him on the front) which has a lumbar support strap and it is WAY more comfortable for me for long term wearing (more than an hour). I scoured the internet for a carrier that works as plus size and this one is great with room after I bought another popular brand AND the extender and still couldn’t use it. Also very pretty and stylish! The manual is lacking, I’m having to look up how to keep the head support down when front facing as the directions don’t tell me this and mine doesn’t seem to want to stay down no matter how I buckle it. ... show more
