  • Some cool features but not my favorite bassinet
Color: Grey-bassinet
I’ve tried out several of this type of bassinets trying to find the absolute best one for my baby on the way. Here are my thoughts on this model. First of all the assembly was pretty simple but the directions were pretty vague (put the tube into the plastic hole) and nothing was labeled. Also some of the fits for tubes and plastics seemed to not quite be right and were difficult to get in. It’s cool that it comes with a bag for storing it. I haven’t seen that yet with a bassinet but I found once the pieces were clicked together on this it was really difficult to disassemble. It would take a lot of effort to get it broken back down to store in the bag. I actually installed the top part backwards since the directions didn’t even mention it should go a specific way and then it was in the wrong position for being used as a bedside sleeper. I gave up on trying to fix it because the pieces were so hard to get apart. Something that is a must on these bassinets is the basket down below. It’s extremely helpful and I’m glad this had one. It’s definitely not very sturdy though. I wouldn’t recommend putting much weight on it. The height on this bassinet is adjustable which is nice but it only locks in the downward direction. If you just grab the edges and lift up it will move up the rails. Safety wise this probably isn’t a concern but for trying to move this around or anything it would get super annoying very quickly. It does say you can adjust the height to 1 notch different for head and foot for things like reflux etc. I’m not sure if this is technically safe but some bassinets specifically say it’s not safe with their model and this one specifically states that you can. Another thing I like about this is the rocking function. To change the base to rocking is super easy and quick and it’s a very very gentle angle so I don’t worry about the rocking being unsafe or tipping it over. There are brakes on the wheels but they don’t really work. On a hard surface the wheels skirt glide pretty freely even with the brakes on. For using as a bedside sleeper the side does come down pretty easily. It just kind of hangs there though. I prefer to have some sort of keeper to hold the piece of material and bar. I also wouldn’t suggest using this as a way to get baby in and out from the bassinet. It’s an easy enough function but not practical to be doing and undoing over and over again. The anchor for connecting to the bed is the much more convenient T shape so no trying to wrap a big strap around a big mattress but might be hard to work if you only have a mattress and no box spring. Some other features to point out is that for this bassinet the support for the mattress is attached to the mattress itself and not the bassinet and just sits in a sling of fabric basically. I’ve noticed this type of support doesn’t tend to stay or sit as level. This one seems to be pretty level though in both directions and not get super easily out of level. There is also a zippered cover on the mattress for washing which is nice but the “mattress” itself is just a piece of poly fill on top of the support board. Lastly the mosquito net is cool but is just a piece of elastic that goes around the top of the bassinet. The boning in the cover initially made me think that it could be collapsed open or closed to access baby but you just have to remove the whole thing. Overall this bassinet is pretty good. As far as it’s actual functions I would probably use it myself but the not so great instructions and a couple of the other negatives I noted made me not super confident in it and I think I’ve found some better options. I don’t think it would be unsafe or a bad idea to use by any means though. ... show more

  • Very spacious and comfortable
Color: Khaki-bassinet
I love this bassinet. It was very comfortable to have it right next to me. I loved just turning over and I could see my baby without getting up. It sounds like nothing but it made a world of a difference. I definitely recommend!

  • Quality is not the best.
Color: Grey-bedside Crib
The bottom piece to this crib, keeps coming apart because of this the crib is flimsy. My baby almost fell with the crib, when this happened. It seems like this part keeps the crib/bassinet together but it has no reinforcements to keep it held in place. Every time you move the bassinet this piece becomes loose or unhooked. ... show more
