We had an electric one from 4M*** for our first born a few years ago and later on learnt that the electromagnetic radiation is too strong for infants so I ditched that and opted for this one without the white noise machine and electric rocker function. I like how this bassinet opens up on its side to allow easy in-bed nursing, I do wish its mattress is level with the side of the opening though so I could just shift the baby towards me without having to scoop out over the height difference (especially the first few postpartum days with the pain). The baby mobile it came with is really cute and simple, not too overstimulating. The way the castors flips up and down makes moving the bassinet easy, and shifting into a rocking cot easy too. I like how it allows one end to be higher than the other (e.g head end to be on height gear 1 and toe end to be on height gear 2) to allow a small degree of elevation, I believe this will help us when it comes to the second month struggle of colic and reflux. This bassinet is bigger than I expected and should be good till 12 month or a bit longer. One side of this bassinet is adjustable, press the two detach bottom, lift the detached frame up and turn it downward which is convenient to get up at night to take care of the baby and observe the baby, you can even pick the baby up from the bassinet without getting out of the bed make the night easy. It can also be able to raised or lowered to adjust the height to match your bed height. It also had Fixing belt which is able to attach to bedside, double secured. The space around this bassinet is not wooden strips but mesh with small holes. It’s good breathability and will not get stuck on the baby ‘s limbs, quite safe. Highly recommended ... show more

It is sturdy, has storage underneath for diapers and wipes, and has a cute little mobile for the baby to look at while resting.
