These are great for those that live in Texas or in the south where summers are 95+ for 5 months straight. Our old bedding (also from amazon) lasted us 8 years but was starting to show its age. After our recent move, we decided to just buy new bedding for all bedrooms and did a color palate change at the same time. I have a dog that lives to sneak up on my bed when I leave so I needed something durable light and easily washable. I like the thickness and the weight of this blanket. It is not very heavy, but it is also quite warm. When you first purchase it, there are wrinkles, but as you let it rest, it will work out. If not, you can always steam it. Very comfortable and love the size/material BUT it is not a white ivory it is more of a beige ivory and makes our bed look dirty - more like a butterscotch color. IF you are looking for a cream cover, this is not the one.

This little thing has been washed 12 times in less than a month and looks great. The quality is crazy great and feels soft with no pills or stray strings. The edges still look perfect. Good good purchase.
