I read other reviews on this that mentioned streaking. I used the tanning glove that came with it and I did not have a problem. I think putting it on with a glove makes a huge difference. That being said, it absorbs quickly. I was able to put lotion on about 10 minutes after the tanning gel and this didn't cause the gel to streak. The color, however did run slightly to the orange side whereas the Tan AF and Disco Candy run more brownish. I am very happy with this product but you should read details before deciding if it’s right for you. My skin color: fair with warm undertones My skin type: upper body very smooth normal supple. My legs moderately on the dry side, get strawberry effect if not maintained. *I've tried expensive products that had rave reviews and the results were either horrible, not quite as good as this product, or good results but you get a quarter of the amount of product for the same quality. Why I gave this product 5 stars -easily applied with bare hands (wash between each section thoroughly) -drys quickly compared to other products. Absorbs well. -did not streak at all! I applied like I would a moisturizer carefully covering areas completely. -color is exactly what I hoped for. Like suntan shade of nylons on my fair skin with no weird streaks or patches, didn’t settle into pores. -with minimal prep it still worked well! (Keep my skin type in mind, might be different on other skin types) -did not fade off in shower after two applications. -color seemed to develop faster than advertised. Definitely faster than other products I’ve used.I noticed color within about 3 hours then left it on over night. (I’ll time it next time to be more exact) -looks pretty darn natural -did not make my skin dry. Tanners tend to make my legs dryer. This product didn’t have a drying effect. -doesn’t not smell!!!! I don’t smell weird! It has a light fruity fragrance that fades away Other products I’d wake up stinking!! -builds nicely. I like to build color more in some areas than others and had no problem doing so. -color maintained after sweaty gym session in tight gym pants. I recently tried out the b.tan Best Clear Self Tanning Gel with Mitt, and I've got to say, it's pretty darn good. Right off the bat, the applicator mitt makes the whole process smooth sailing – no streaks, no mess, just easy application. What I really dig about this stuff is how fast it dries. Seriously, it's like magic. No waiting around for it to set, which means I can get on with my day without worrying about staining my clothes or sheets. Plus, being clear, there's no risk of ending up looking like a zebra, which is always a win in my book. The bottle is huge – 16 fl oz – so you definitely get your money's worth. And the tan? It's gradual and natural-looking, none of that fake orange nonsense. Only downside for me is the smell afterward. It's not terrible, but it's not my favorite either. Just something to keep in mind. Overall though, b.tan's gel is a winner in my book. Easy to use, long-lasting, and gives a great glow – what more could you ask for? ... show more

I have tried so many self-tanners over the years and this one is by far the best one I have used AND it comes at an unbeatable price. I read the reviews and followed the advice and it looks amazing! It gives a beautiful, natural tan. So what I do is: 1) the day before I will shave and exfoliate and then moisturize 2) day of, shower before hand and moisturize again, making sure to get in-between my toes and fingers, ankles, knees, elbows and wrists 3) (I bought a mit to use- cheap $5 one) apply to my legs and feet first then slowly work my way up. (I use about 8 pumps per tan). I do rub it in as much as I can to prevent streaks 4) I let it dry it, get dressed and then wait for the perfect tan to come. If I do it in the morning, I will shower 6-8 hours later. If I do it at night, I shower in the morning, usually 8-10 hours after the application. If applied correctly, which is super super easy, there are no streaks. I have only had an issue with streaks one time and it was completely user error. I didnt get it rubbed in and missed a few spots. That is one of the negatives is that it is clear, so it is hard to see where you already applied and rubbed in and where you haven't, though that is also a plus because it doesn't turn ANYTHING orange or discolor clothing, sheets, etc. Mine usually lasts me a solid 3-4 days before it starts to fade. Usually by the following weekend (I don't do it during the week) it's still there, but much, much lighter and I'm ready for a new application I am allergic to the sun and break out in terrible rashes and get blisters so I am unable to get a natural tan any longer, so this is perfect for me, especially in the summer. 10/10 reccomemd!!
