I love this blanket so much. Unfortunately the seams unraveled but it still holds up really well. I looked up a YouTube video of how to stitch it back up and she’s beautiful again. It’s so warm and cozy and perfect. It does pill so make sure you wash it before you use it.

I was really excited to order this Aztec Throw Blanket with Soft Sherpa Lining. The pictures made it look cozy, stylish, and perfect for curling up on the couch during chilly evenings. I loved the Aztec pattern — it’s vibrant and really adds a nice decorative touch to the room. That part, I will say, met expectations: the design is beautiful and the colors are true to the photos online. Unfortunately, that’s about where the positives stopped. The biggest issue for me was the feel of the blanket. Despite being advertised as “soft” and having a sherpa lining, it was anything but soft. The outer patterned side feels stiff and rough, almost like canvas rather than fabric you’d want to wrap yourself in. Even worse, the sherpa lining — which I was hoping would feel plush and comforting — felt scratchy and dry, more like sandpaper than anything resembling softness. It was actually uncomfortable to use on bare skin, and even through clothing it wasn’t particularly pleasant. I washed it according to the care instructions thinking maybe it just needed to be fluffed up a bit — no luck. If anything, it got even rougher after one wash, and the sherpa lost what little loft it had. The blanket also has a certain stiffness to it that doesn’t make it easy to drape or snuggle up with. It holds its shape awkwardly instead of flowing nicely like a good throw should. Overall, this blanket is a disappointment if you’re looking for something to actually keep you warm and cozy. It might work as a decorative piece thrown over a chair or bed for the pattern alone, but as far as functionality and comfort go, it falls short. I would not recommend this if softness and comfort are your priorities — there are far better options out there that deliver on both looks and comfort. ... show more
